Yup, I noticed that too. I suppose they'll try out the Fduct tomorrow... Although in Monaco we ran without the fduct, didn't we? Could be the same here...

If anything Ferrari have done a better job of making their wing more efficient, complexity doesn't always equal more.

there seems to be little improvements to the end plate details, hole at front and minor shaping of the main end plate up right and the small up right seems to be more shaped to. The rear wing bottom plane is bigger and more profiled. More slot gaps in the rear wing end plates. All these will help with downforce, havent seen the floor yet, really really cannt wait till tomorrow. Forza Ferrari.

I dont get how we are on the same playing level with performance to MC and RB from a visual standpoint. Just look at those aggressive front wings, and look at ours, all plain and simple. Just from a visual stand point you would think that we wouldnt even be on the same level.

You can't tell by looks, its more about how the wing works with rest of the car that determines how good it is not how many pretty parts its got on it.

Anyway i want to see how this new floor works, cant wait for practice tomorrow now !

The F10 looks stunning in the that first picture.

Our simple front wing amazes me compared to the Macs and Red Bull's, but it clearly works so I'm not complaining.

Did you know that the man on the right of Fernando is Edoardo Bendinelli, his brother in law? (married to Fernando' sister, don't know if there's another word in english for this...)
He's replacing Fabrizio Borra, who don't like 15 hour flights...

McLaren and Redbull probably spend a fortune to construct those ugly looking front wings.

The Ferrari one looks so much faster... In my view simpler is always better.

I know we've always had a pretty basic looking front wing (and it works!), but dammmn... :-EI think it's a matter of what works better together with the rest of the car. If we needed the complicated designs of RB, McLaren or Ferrari, we would have them, Ferrari has brains to spare to design such things. They are using simpler-looking wings because those are the absolute best in the F10, perhaps because the car is far different than their rivals. IMO, at least, but the fact there have been very slight changes from the first race of the season seems to point in that direction, if a team like Renault can bring 1 newly evolved front wing every race, it's impossible that Ferrari are unable to make theirs more complicated if the wished so.

Liscia
26th September 2010, 16:41
FORZA FERRARI!!!
As to our wings I quote that 'handsome is as handsome does' and those Mac and RB wings look unneceessarily complicated.
Less is more especially when it works as ours obviously does.
