Why not? He doesn't actually do anything worth his salary anymore. Asfaik he just walks around the road car factory looking at stuff.

edit; that sounded a bit harsh. I would like to point out i don't believe Chris himself likes the situation and he deserves to be involved with racing. Just not with Ferrari anymore.

Yeah there is no real future for him at Ferrari now, not while things are the same as they are, so I don't see much reason to be upset about him leaving.

Very true. Its a shame such an asset would end up that way though, if not for what happened in Abu Dhabi.
If this is true, I don't think Chris is really happy about it either.

Looks like HRT is out of his consideration then, which is understandable because it does sting a lot to find home at such a team, especially if you are coming from Ferrari.
