A Madrid court has recently sentenced Antena 3 to pay over 73,000 euros for damages for injury to Fernando Alonso.
The allegations date of December 21, 2009, when the program "cadena del amor" stated that the Spaniard was in the process of separation with his wife Raquel del Rosario. It is clear that this was something completely false and two years later, the judge has convicted Antena 3 to pay damages that, in the express wish of the pilot, will be dedicated entirely to Unicef.
Alonso also requires the network to refute those comments made both in antenna and in print media, some of which have yet to meet.
