It's nice to see for once that no serious collisions happened in the first corner during the start and even throughout the race! Fantastic start for Ferrari as we are not expected to have this many points this early and were proud to say that we did it fair and square on a dry track.

I have no idea why everyone is saying Webber is off the pace, he had a poor start but his race pace was actually superior to Vettel when he was in clean air. In that last stint he was consistently a second per lap faster

He finnished 50 seconds behind 1st place. In Red Bull. That's enough for me.

HONOR ROLE
Driver of the Race: Sutil
Honorable Mention: Kimi and Alonso, Massa for blowing peoples perception of him away.
Overtaking Move of the Race: Alonso on Lewis no doubt.
Race High Point: After Vettel seemingly pulling away at the start watching both Ferraris claw him back and attack realizing oh our pace is genuine
HORROR ROLL
Driver off the Pace: Max Chilton - terrible, McLaren.
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Pic.
Race Low Point: When Massa emerged from the pits behind Vettel. Vettel being on the podium
Your Take on the Race:
Was a pleasant surprise when we expected Red Bull domination. I don't sense Lotus will keep development pace or perform on this level all of the time even if they are the tyre whisperer.

Spent the race stuck behind slower cars and with no KERS. Not a single person has said Grosjean, he was in the race winning car and was a minute and a half off the race leader.
Webber had equal pace to Vettel in the race, but no KERS at the start murdered him. It was like 2009

Plus, Grosjean was off the pace due to not getting enough set up work on his car. As he got the new parts for his car yesterday morning, just before Q1. We all know that it was wet and not great to set car up with new parts (which Kimi got for Friday)

Driver of the Race: Kimi.
Honorable Mention: Alonso, Andrea Stella, Massa, Sutil, Bianchi.
Overtaking Move of the Race: Alonso on Hamilton.
Race High Point: Massa's start.
HORROR ROLL
Driver off the Pace: Webber
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Rob Smedley, as funny as he was conservative with Massa's strategy. Massa:"what are we going to do?" Smedley;" uuuhm...well you've got a clean track, let's see what we can do", come on you can do better than that Rob.
Race Low Point: Kimi turning in the fastest lap of the race on lap 57! To show the rest how much life he still had in his tyres.
Your Take on the Race: Impressive race pace, just a little improvement in qualifying needed, but than again with starts like that, who needs qualifying?

What makes me wonder is why is it always Webber's car? We've got today, last year in India, the alternator in the US. God knows what would've happened if all this happened to the other Red Bull..

Max Chilton is a terrible driver. I wouldn't even call him a race driver. Every driver in the sport should destroy him really, but the fact Biachi done so is still good

Indeed that might be true, same when Alonso was in a Minardi against Marques and Yoong (they were top class right?), still he seemed to do pretty good no?

Neither was destroying Yoong and Marques any exploit for Alonso in a Minardi, but he still got noticed. Mind you Marques did outscore Alonso I am sure....oops lol

Overtaking Move of the Race:
Race High Point: Alonso chasing down Hamilton and attempting to overtake him
HORROR ROLL
Driver off the Pace: Webber
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: Pic - almost caused a collision with Alonso
Race Low Point: When we realised that Raikkonen has got in the bag for the win - he was just conserving his tyres
Your Take on the Race:
What a remarkable turnaround in the car performance by us! The team have done a tremendous job. Good call to use the Cologne wind tunnel. Game on!

Honorable mention:Alonso,Sutil
Overtaking Move of the Race:Alonso's first overtake on Hamilton
Race High Point:Both Ferrari's hounding Vettel
Horror Roll
Driver off the Pace:Grosjean (seriously did not look like a future WC today )
The LHBMOTRA goes to:Lewis for almost taking out Fernando when he overcooked it and locked up, but we all know the real problem and why that happens to him. It is the nut that holds the steering wheel in his car.
Race Low Point:Strategy at SF is still not as good as it should be and how easy Lotus and Kimi got theirs right.
.
You take on the raceGreat to see both cars and drivers do so well and look so competitive. Car looked solid and should bode well for the rest of the season.

Id like to give a nod to NBC Sports in the US. They showed the race live, Matchet/Hobbs were great.
AND, they have replayed the race twice on Sunday and theyre playing it again tonite!!!
I dont know bout you, but I'll watch it as many times as I can. So kudos to them, good job.

HONOR ROLE
Driver of the Race: Sutil (by knowing that car he is driving), it was a little bit what a Alonso did last year with this not-very-fast Ferrari
Honorable Mention: Fernando & Felipe & Kimi
Overtaking Move of the Race: (it is more a non-overtacking) Fernando not crashing with Lewis (others would have done), clever and smart!
Race High Point: our race pace after few laps
HORROR ROLL
Driver off the Pace: Button, Maldonado.
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: - not sure what this means?
Race Low Point: Faster-Than discussions and creating conspiracy after the race
Your Take on the Race:
Good start but against all delights also a big rock of work still to do in less time ... if the Bulls get an idea how to manage the tires it will be disaster for all others if they don't catch up fast.
NickEice
19th March 2013, 14:36
Fast Laps:
Jules Bianchi - 1’30.454
Max Chilton -1’32.210
Charles Pic - 1’32.261
Giedo van der Garde - 1’32.636
Bianchi's fastest lap was nearly 2 seconds quicker than his closest competition.
He was the only back-marker not to go 2 laps down.
He was fast all weekend in all sessions.
He had an outstanding race and deserves an honorable mention.
The Driver's off the Pace are easily Button and Perez. Can't fault a mechanical failure on Webber's car. When the KERS came back he stormed through the field. The McLaren's are just generally slow and off the pace.

Driver of the Race: Alonso
Honorable Mention: Massa, Sutil, Bianchi
Overtaking Move of the Race: Alonso overtaking Hamster
Race High Point: Great pitstops and the big cheer Alonso got from the crowd when he stepped onto the podium
HORROR ROLL
Driver off the Pace: Grosjean
The Lewis Hamilton Bonehead Move of the Race Award goes to: None other than Hamster himself for fighting with Alonso for a lost cause like a stubborn idiot.
Race Low Point: The worrying pace of Kimi's Lotus (especially the very low degradation rate on the tyres)
Your Take on the Race: Fantastic start to a new season...2nd and 4th place, really satisfied with that result. And what a huge improvement compared to last year. Hopefully we can keep improving throughout the season and take what's rightfully ours (both titles) in the end.

It's no mystery riddle, it clearly means if you behave in the same way as before the result will be the same, as Massimo already said, if you still wish to continue with this charade may I suggest you think less laterally and look at some 'verse' on the forum...

also like to say the NBC broadcast was brilliant, it never made sense to me how speed could show a sporting event which isn't NBA, NFL, therefor doesn't have little breaks right in the middle of the action, they would have commercials every 5 minutes, no matter what was going on, on track, and then only to come back and show us the replay, and also, which would only make sense to speed, not showing so many of the races live. they would be having informatials instead of simply showing the reason we actually put on that channel to begin with.
Finally at NBC F1 got the attention it deserves, and if not for the entire history of that championship, which by itself is enough to be on tv's all around the world, but specially from last season showing that anything can happen, this is no longer a baseball match between the yankees and the pirates, which every single one can predict the ending.
PS Loved the start of the race with felipe and fernando showing what they are in for this season, and well it seemed like in 2 or 3 laps vettel was going to open a huge gap, but somehow that didn't happen, felipe and fernando were right there on his neck for the entire race.
