i thought myself race over for alonso when i saw him not going into the pits, what a luck, all hopes in massa now, and i said this was Alonso's fault, he saw the sparks the team surely warned him about the problem he don't need to be called to take a decision like that, he might had thought he could held until changing tyres, bad choice

Felipe had a few bumps at the start from Webber. Could the car be damaged? Or we're trying to save a stop?

NanoTheQuickest

Damn that was a stupid move from Nando and Felipe went backward for 7 laps. So much for the 1-2 we wanted.

Still, GO Felipe GO

It was also a stupid idea from Alonso to keep challenging... Pit wall should have warned him and told
Him to take it steady in the pits, could have got in there in 5/6th maybe, and he'd still be in the race.

If Alonso didn't know the FW was hanging barely and just felt the downforce loss he made the right decission. He would be pitting in 2 laps for dry tyres anyway. If team didn't tell him the wing would not hold on the car, it was team mistake. If they did and Alonso ignored it, it was Alonoso's mistake. Easy.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but apparently Alonso told the Spanish TV that he never expected such serious damage after a small bump with Vettel, and that since he was leaving the other Ferrari behind he thought it was worth it to go for another lap before switching to slicks. I did not see the interview, but it was reported somewhere else.
