I'm not sure but i think we compromise our straight line speed for more downforce in designing, but we are not good enough again, but likes of sauber have straight line speed advantage still. :Hmm

Exactly my thoughts atleast Williams were honest and said that they did not understand it!! What do we do start throwing things that we still do not understand and go backwards! Embarrassing performance wonder what LDM thinks!!

Nothing personal but Felipe was shambolic. Fernando with all that pain and discomfort proves why he is not the driver who is off to Williams.

You seem to swing from attacking Alonso, to Stefano to Massa, to Kimi.

Wow I sure am going to miss when people take their frustration at the car out on Felipe. As per usual, when Alonso outqualifies him, Felipe is crap. But when Felipe outqualifies Fernando, there are even more hissy fits and moans about how Fernando's going to get past.

What a relief to not have to put up with that kind of nonsense next year.

The gap to RBs is just annoying and frustrating. So there's a race in the race: in the front RBs and the behind them the race where all other participate ...
Really surprised about Bottas: not only the car was performing out of a sudden he also managed it to bring it down.
Also by Kov ... not much practise absolutely new car for him ... I think also new track for him? so not bad ...

Thank you Fernando for picking out the chestnut from the fire ...
once again I could kick some at Ferrari in the :furious all night long for not taking Hulk ... What a :furious
Sad that Felipe seems not finding the right setup ... but maybe Ferrari broke something again which would make him even more loyal to the team

What about Fernando last race in Abu Dhabi. He wasn't in Q3 either?

I know ... and I think you have been on this place what was going on here when that happened? Lack of motivation at Fernando ... bla bla bla ...

Interview with Marko:
Tanja Bauer from Sky Germany asked him if it isn't a shame that Hulk isn't getting a seat for 2014 as his results are very good in the Sauber ...
Markos answer: I don't care about other I just look to our own trainees ...
Bauer a little surprised about his rude answer saying: No ... I just wanted to know if it isn't a bit surprising that Hulk has problems getting a seat in general (not RB).
Marko: Again, I don't care about others ....

This man kindly ask to be in the same line which I want to kick :furious all night long ...

For Felipe's fans, indeed.....those who bash Felipe this way should be ashamed of themselves :giveup
I for myself think this result (6th and 15th) is not normal. Something must have been wrong because this difference is way too big to be realistic. Either Felipe made a mistake or something was not okay on the car.

Love is blindness?
which discussion did we had last race where Fernando was behind Felipe only by a blink of the eye?
Fernando don't want to race, lost motivation, Felipe now so relaxed ... etc etc. ...

Something must have been wrong because this difference is way too big to be realistic. Either Felipe made a mistake or something was not okay on the car.

On Sky I have only seen that he cancelled is last try ... drove directly into box ... and then they (Sky) have shown that he made a mistake in the first corner on his lap: breaking too hard --> off the line then ... but then they changed to another screen (commercial) ... so unfortunately not more to see as this doesn't explain the gap ... so must have been more ...

Hulk told that track changed from FP3 to Q1 which forced them to change the setup of his car.
Maybe Felipe suffered more as we know how hard is to know in which direction you must go in the setup with actual car ...

But tomorrow weather should be hotter than today: maybe that favours him as it might give more grip ... on TV they always tell the Felipe favours softer tires with much grip ... so when a bit warmer tomorrow more grip and therefore Felipe feels more confident? Hope so ...

If you look at the images some more you can see that when they come up to a corner the rim gets heated, and on a straight it is cooled down. I'll go out on a lim here but maybe they brake coming in to a corner?

On the images Alonso is on a straight, Hamilton is approaching a corner and Vettel is in a corner

Agreed even yesterday he only beat Webber by a tenth, whereas the next best car was a second behind. Looking at the onboard of Vettel's lap, he messed up T1 and T11 - it was by no means a perfect lap, but of course he will get all the plaudits because he took the pole position.

Wishful thinking on my part that Felipe might have had the chance to be in that position, stefa, but surely you understand what I mean in the sense that Massa's strategies have often ruined his race. As for my saying that Vettel must now be accepted as a very good driver, I begrudgingly believe that to be true despite wanting him to poke that finger where the sun don't shine.

Agreed even yesterday he only beat Webber by a tenth, whereas the next best car was a second behind. Looking at the onboard of Vettel's lap, he messed up T1 and T11 - it was by no means a perfect lap, but of course he will get all the plaudits because he took the pole position.

I am hopping that one day he will have a bad car, and evryone will see how bad he is ;-)

I don't have any hard evidence, but I don't think he is a bad driver. On the contrary I think he is a real good one....

He is good, but by far not as much as his results. That's all.

An unusual question, but do u think vettel has been able to home is skills in a very good car and then when he gets a bad car he will be able to cope so his skills are hidden? weird question but im sure if you wernt the quickest, a quick car will allow you to develop to the level of the naturally talented...because when he does have a bad car im wondering if he will be shown out that's all! so relaxed for this race!

I am not definding SV, so please do not Judas me.
Why people think is is bad driver after all. Didn't he drove Toro Rosso car prior to Red Bull? He won Monza 2008 in very difficult conditions. Same year last race, he was also good behind the wheel of week TR car again at very difficult track conditions...

Indeed, Seb is clearly a quality driver. We had much the same said about Alonso when he was at Renault on this forum. He was always downgraded and talked about as if it was all the car.
