Good race and as it looked on Friday,Mercs where far away.Its their first dominant win this year(copy paste from last year)!!

Still happy with 3rd just dissappointed that team, knowing how hard is to pass on this track, gave Ham track place and clean air. He can go for 10 laps giving 1+ second a lap, but when he gets to Vettel infront of him he is just as "slow" because he simply cannot pass. I would understand this strategy anywhere else but Barcelona and Monaco. You dont give track position in these places

No he wouldnt what are you on about? He had 5 second pit stop and got 4 seconds behind, if he had 2.5s pit stop he would still be behind. Again you are not following at all..We are faster then Williams still we simply couldnt pass them with medium tires and while closing 1s per lap

Not bad. Last year next best were 50 seconds off the 2nd merc this time 30 seconds but 45 off top As seen in pre season this is Mercs best track, as a come back year it is very good but nice to get the cars 3 and 4 again as last 2 races Bottas has had 1 of the Ferrari drivers.

No matter what we would of done. There would of been no way to hold back Lewis. They to fast. Yes our updates work. But Merc stared started year away ahead anyway. We can close gap. But when they update car they take that gap back out again.

We finished 45 SECONDS behind them. Our race pace was better b4 today for sure.
Its great to see us better than last year, but I would love to see us really get competitive.

Five podiums in five races, and neither driver has finished lower than fifth. In a normal season we'd be in good shape, it's just that Merc is if anything even more dominant than they were last year.

It's odd that Kimi seems consistently quicker than Seb on the hard tyre and Seb quicker than Kimi on the medium. Of course they were using different setups here. But if that's down to driver preference then the team might want to factor that into their race strategy and try to keep each man on his preferred rubber for as much of the race as possible.

The only traffic he had was 1 lotus that he got past 3 corners later.
I think the strategy today was good its just mercs are too fast on this track.

Yes I have seen lap times and fact is Ham couldnt undercut Vettel, not only that he fell into traffic behind Raikkonen. Seriously, Vettel had 1.5s when Ham pittes and his pit stop was 3.2s, and Vettels was 2.2s. So hamilton had to make 2.5s in one lap to undercut him, and he didnt do it.

Simply put Vettel would come ahead in 2nd pit stop no matter what you say. Again, i realize they were just faster but like in Raikkonen/Bottas case its almost impossible to pass even if you are cutting the lead by 1s and have medium tires.

The car still struggles getting out of the corners. Poor traction. Need some efficient engine mapping, imho, as the torque still gives the rear some hard times.

Waiting for the engine update to be as strong as possible... 40+ seconds is too damn much, even for a circuit as Barcelona that suited those silver tractors...

It made a lot difference on the mediums and on the qualifying, there is no doubt that the new upgrades are working but i think this race isn't showing it properly.
