Forza Ferrari!!

I'll be cheering on Seb and Kimi and hoping for a Merc DNF (sorry, just being honest)

Forza Ferrari.

Seb podium for sure, just as long as we have good clean race. Kimi, if he gets race face on, and not the Kimi face of cannt be ****** face, points is on cards. Same old, dream that Mercs will trip other eachother and double DNFs and Seb there for the picking up the win.

Aslo, Happy fathers day to all Dads.:thumb

After watching a truly brilliant Blancpain GT race from Paul Ricard on Motors TV yesterday I’m finding it hard to get motivated for this potential repeat of the Canadian GP borefest.
Good showing by Ferrari & great job by Kessel Racing & Akka ASP 458’s finishing within the top ten out of the 60 car grid.
Not expecting much from this F1 race in Austria as nobody can run close in the dirty air especially through those fast downhill sweepers therefore most overtaking will be done in pitlane so nothing much gonna happen really. Doubt Vettel will get anywhere near the Merc's so expecting another Lewis show with Rosberg finishing in his mandatory 2nd spot.
Kimi's quali performance was pretty much expected as this is his normal form in wet/changeable conditions so no surprise TBH. No doubt he will go better in the race until he gets stuffed behind the Merc buffer that is Bottas Williams.
Haven't seen much from the bad dwarf lately so hopefully Brundle will catch him on the grid in the hope he will cause a laugh. Maybe the highlight of this event will be some outlandish, ludicrous remark from him of how sort out these ridiculous engine usage penalties.
Hopefully I’m 100% wrong about everything & we have a great race.
Forza Ferrai!!!

Hopefully Seb can fight at least nico, passing him at the start would be great. Kimi needs a clean start and he will probably end up top 6 at least, knowing his great racecraft and tyre protection. Forza Ferrari !

Is this the daftest grid ever? :Hmm
The two drivers in one team who are on pole and 2nd positions both spun their cars on their final laps. But, due to the superiority of their cars they were not inconvenienced too much.
And, two world champion drivers are starting not just from the back of the grid but from minus positions on the grid –not through any fault of their own or infringement of driving rules themselves.
Added to which they will also have 1. A drive - through penalty 2. A stop/ go penalty just to make absolutely certain that there is no possibility that they gain any points – which, sadly, they show no signs whatsoever of doing.
Added to this there will be howls of outrage should either of them ‘enjoy’ themselves or ‘have fun’ or race others who have faster cars than them and want to overtake them.
I am going to be at Silverstone, but I'm beginning to wonder why.

There is a slim possibility of shower during race

Kristof_F40
21st June 2015, 11:33
I don't think there will be much overtaking, only the Renaults will be overtaken I think. With the tyres being so hard, 1 stop won't be much of an issue.
I still think that if Kimi doesn't make up a lot of places in the first few laps, he's better of doing an early stop and have clean are and use the potential of the car

Hope for clean race for both of our drivers...!!
Seb needs to attack mercs if there's much pace in our car. As far as Kimi is concerned, just need to drive his own race, if it's wet then trouble for him as we saw during FP.
So hoping for dry race.

He magically lost it in Canada too.

Total different occasions.
In Canada it was right after the corner as he tried to throttle up power kicked in and made him spin.
Here he didnt spun he clearly suddenly lost his rear due to a touch or a puncture like Rob pointed out. Personally i think he got hit from behind, made him lose rear and collide.

If we do great stops and have good race everyone praises the team. But just bit of bad luck with the gun, everyone turns on them and runs them down.

They work so hard for us to go racing. Look after the cars, stand in dangerous place when a car is coming at them at 60 mph and changes the wheel in under 3 seconds. Give them a break, if the gun goes bit whoop now and again.

Alonso said in an interview minutes ago, that Kimi was sliding after the turn and then hit Fernando's car when he was trying to pass from the left side, didn't hear what kimi said about it , we'll have to wait

On replay Kimi had both left side tyres over the white line before turn in, so may of picked up puncture.

Especially since Vettel is constantly losing 1-2 tenths in S1. Even with DRS it will be nigh impossible to overtake.

Kimi is so bad right now he is on a slippery slope. Always a communication issue but only with him, always engine map makes the car spin but only him. If he does not improve Sergio may put Vergne in the car after the summer break.

Merc have now got their quali advantage in the race after sorting the engine knocking issue with the Canada reliability upgrades. Ferrari are pushing the limits but now got a few mistakes in the operation of the team and 1 driver whose form has fallen off the cliff like a 2012 tyre.

2 3rd places thrown away in 2 races.
