Heavy rain halted running on Tuesday's first morning of the post-race test at Spielberg before any of the teams could run in anger.

Only McLaren and Ferrari, who had Stoffel Vandoorne and F1 debutant Antonio Fuoco in their respective cars, were able to complete installation laps before track officials decided to red flag proceedings because of the amount of standing water on track.

Antonio’s first drive in the SF15-T

Spielberg, 23 June – Just under 48 hours on from the Austrian Grand Prix, the SF15-T was back on track, with Antonio Fuoco at the wheel for the first of two days testing at the Spielberg circuit. The Ferrari Driver Academy student, currently competing in the GP3 series, follows the path first taken by Davide Rigon at Magny Cours in 2012 and then again at Silverstone in 2013, adding to the list of young Italians given the opportunity to drive at an official test.

Fellow academy student, Raffaele Marciello undertook testing duties at Abu Dhabi in 2014 and then again at the first day of the Barcelona test back in May of this year. Fuoco’s debut today has been affected by very heavy rain, which has not let up prior to the lunch break. It means that only installation laps could be completed by those taking part, so there are no lap times.

Many people are saying it should be illegal according to the regulations. But maybe Williams know something no one else do

should be illegal, unless there's a loophole in the rules.

2008 was the last year we saw mini wings being used to reduce rear wheel drag. In 2009, all these aero bits was banned.

Did we change the color on our rain lights? Can't say I've ever seen green before.

It designates the driver as a rookie from what I read.

Also this is very interesting! It seems that we are the only team that didn't test any innovative solution or at leat aero upgrade. The end of the williams, when the white hood end, around their exhaust is also new? Very tight package...

Merc do not have a quali mode more likely quali is what their engine has but was turned down for races due to knocking. With reliability upgrade they can use their engine in the race at same power as quali hence the quali gap is now the race lap gap. At least this is now known due to Ferrari pressure Merc cannot hide performance so although they are far the goal is now clear.

"Ferrari used a tyre laser on their car to measure the shape of the tyres, as homework for their wind tunnel model, which shows the level of sophistication in F1 today,"

http://formula1.ferrari.com/en/positive-day/
Today’s testing focused mainly on studying the behaviour of the various Pirelli compounds, as well as looking at some aerodynamic solutions. It’s always nice to be able to drive the current Formula 1 car and I want to thank the team for giving me this opportunity. It was a positive day, we did a good job and we completed the programme we had set ourselves, gathering plenty of data that we can now carefully analyse back in Maranello”.

I dont see what the Williams nose can accomplish, interesting, but still ugly.
After the last race I was yearning for some racing, so I pulled out some old vcr
tapes of races from 96 thru 99. How refreshing to not only watch, but hear also.
The cars looked so much better.
