Slowly we are getting there. As it was evident in Bahrain as today, we have car that is very good in corners. Can't wait for Portugal.

I was thinking about the same.. the moment he is struck with some issue, be it safety car or something crap happens which puts Lewis at a less of a disadvantage than what it would have been.

Good result, too bad there were no podiums. They lack some horsepower. I am optimistic for this season that we can be 3 teams 2022 but fighting for the title.

He only corrected because Bottas succeeded in doing what he wanted to do: make Russell's line into the corner incredibly unoptimal and defend his position. This is a fairly common move.

I'm no longer concerned about the Ferrari in corners, I'm sure we can improve further and we seem to be doing a better job with the tyre management but it's of up most importance that the engine next year delivers and gives us parity at the very least with Mercedes and Honda.

Well if you go at 51s you understand why Russel corrected he thought he was getting squeezed, it s like Bottas was bluffing him and corrected to make Russel line in the corner sub optimal.

I'd say its a good race for us. Shame Leclerc couldn't finish on the podium, as the red flag benefitted quite a few and Leclerc got the short end of it instead.
But otherwise his performance today was great.

Lewis certainly got very lucky again. He seem to always get some helping circumstances whenever he finds himself in some deep poo.
Though to be fair, Sainz did benefitted too, helping him to recover from the few mistakes he did today.

Just about sums it up! And how come he was able to unlap himself? Great efforts from Charles and Carlos but we would always have been under threat from faster on the straights Merc/Mclaren/RB. Soul-destroying to think that Charles was running P2 for a good few laps before the red flag and lost out mainly due to our lack of that last 10-15hp and Lando on softs being able to pass Charles on the re-start. We were unlucky today, but LH takes the biscuit on that score, as usual.:roll

The race had a lot happening for sure and felt entertained.

I think our guys did a pretty fine job, but the car is still lacking straight line speed. In the slow corners it's almost magical and seems to have great traction. Russell will never drive for a top team with moves like that, it was all his fault and his antics after the crash were not something I would like to see. For a moment I thought he was going to go and help Bottas out of the car but noooo. HAM is still the luckiest guy on the planet, even when makes really bad mistakes.

Disappointed because CL looked amazing during wet part, had 30s in hand and guaranteed 4th...and then the red flag. He lost the most of everyone with it.

Carlos was really good today, rather racey albeit with few big mistakes. Once he deals with these, I think we might have best driver pairing.

All in all, pace is what matters and we looked really good. I cant wait for portimao, hopefully we use spoon wing not to lose to much on straights. Amazing achievement by the team!

Lewis should have a penalty. You're definitely not allowed to reverse on the track, Hamilton reversed from the gravel onto the track, ideally he should have reversed on gravel then go forward before he reached the circuit. I would say it's a penalty.


Crucial thing is that it is LH. It would be a penalty for any other driver, but him, NO!

Well, normally you might think there would be at least an announcement of the FIA having that reversing incident under investigation. But I haven't seen any, have you? It doesn't matter if he should have a penalty or not. Verstappen reversed and it was safe. Fair enough. But it was under investigation. And they gave an explanation of their decision. In Bahrain track limits thing was ridiculous if you take in mind that Yuki got a 5 sec track limits penalty. I don't want to say the FIA is biased towards Hamilton.The inconsistency is not helping. Just let the people know you have seen it. Not investigate other drivers except one.
