Easily the saddest moment of my F1 fan life.

Kitos Kimi. Hyvää taisteli!

(thank you Kimi. Well fought!)

Two of those are among the few Finnish words I know even as a next door neighbour of them.

It's definitely the end of an era and obviously he's forever a Ferrari legend for his incredible 2007 comeback. Even though he never reproduced that magic, that lives on for the rest of my life.

Oh? I was taking a dump.

On another note, I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw Kimi driving a Hypercar in the WEC in the not to distant future.

For Ferrari perhaps... Maybe with Alonso.

Raikkonen/Alonso/Rossi

there's a team for Ferrari's return to LeMan's overall winning :pray

Thanks for all Kimi, I will miss your concise comments:) Too much talk and not enough do from the young crop you're leaving behind.

Now that would be a formidable lineup! I have every faith that Ferrari can deliver a car capable of doing it.

Thank you Kimi. You were a wonderful driver back in the early days with McLaren. Wished you could retain your charm after moving to Ferrari.
Will surely miss your driving.

Kimi will be retiring from F1 after this season.

Maybe that was the reason he was sitting all alone in his garage during Spa GP.

There won't be another character like Kimi in F1 in my life time.
2003-2007 he showed what an immense natural talent he was. Easily one of the fastest on the grid.
Even if he doesn't have the fire as some of the young kids out there, his race craft and experience can still be top notch.

Without question, he will be missed.

I just hope he chooses to race is another series just for fun. Grosjean is enjoying his time in Indycar ;)

It would be great seeing Mick @ Alfa along wit the new Ferrari engine ! A Swiss driver with a Swiss home team could bring millions more fans and $$$. And a chance for Mick to get in the points .

Thanks Kimi for the WDC and everything.
I'm glad he won his WDC with us, which is still the only post-Schumi title for us thus far.

That was news for me, did not know that.

The Brit has worked with many other talented drivers, such as Mika Häkkinen, Fernando Alonso, Michael Schumacher and Nico Hülkenberg.

However, Räikkönen’s ability to understand how to set up a car and his understanding of changes puts him at another level in those areas according to Slade.

The World of Kimi. Kimi drove for Ferrari and McLaren, as did Fernando Alonso. When I was younger, I thought that was weird. Ferrari and McLaren were Top Dogs. It seemed a bit like playing for Manchester United, then signing for Liverpool.
Anyway, here is a YouTube Video of Kimi in action on the Track. Kimi is unique.
