Carlos tried his best there but we don't have the straight line speed. Charles with a lower downforce wing but no traction out of the hairpin meant that he was always too far behind when he got to the drs line.

I think it wasn't the straightline speed...it was traction out of that haripin which was letting us down. Our Quali setup is our Achilles heel in race condition

They always play it safe to ridiculous degrees and it costs points. Not accounting for a lighter car wearing tyres less is just silly.

I have the feeling, lower dnf set up ,doesn't suit our car!!! The body/bottom doesn't produce the same amount of dnf as RedBull. So we might gain some speed but we loose traction. Today Carlos with greater dnf set up was faster then Lec. I know they run different race (CD in front, Lec from behind) and with different strategy, but the overall picture was this. Lec was not fast enough through medium-slow corners.
The only bet we have now is Sylverstone upgrades . If we gain performance compere to RedBull updates, them we might have a chance. If not ,bye bye !!!
