Charles did 20 laps on 3 lap old softs with much more fuel. The softs would have probably been fine for 15 laps. No idea what the strat team were doing. At the very least they should have run contra strat and pitted one whilst keeping the other out.

Team did ask Leclerc to slow down into +5s behind Sainz, but when the SC was out, the gap suddenly increased into 9 seconds, thus the traffic in pit lane happened. If Leclerc kept the same ~5s gap behind Sainz, he would be able come out in front of the Mercedes + Lando
