Really don't like those tight rears. Makes the car look like a fish. Even worse are Williams and Sauber with that gap before the rear wing, which makes them appear like incomplete.
Hopefully the next set of rules for when the turbo engines come in, the body work will revert to pre-2009.
i liked the cars better when the rear wings were lower. yeah miss those days

I think only the Rear Wing has bodywork limits. I believe the area of the bodywork forward of the Rear Wing is open to wingets and limited turning vanes.

Sounds as if there are myriad problems. This car seems to want to oversteer even with a larger wing, which makes me think there is a mechanical grip problem. If that is the case, a smaller rear wing to enhance top end speed will only make the oversteering/tire wear problem worse.
Frank, Sections 8.3.1, 8.3.2 and 8.3.3 restrict the size and location of wings, vanes, winglets, etc. It is all done in reference to center-lines and reference plane, but I think they severely restrict the size of any such wings. This may explain why the only winglets we have seen so far are the little things that Ferrari have added.

I was just wondering why people can get such clear close up pictures when teams are supposed to keep it secret. Is Ferrari not good on security?
Photographers and camera men are allowed to wander up and down the pit lane during a race event. Its part of promoting the sports. There's also a rule that during race weekend, teams are not allowed to put up any big curtain or anything to cover up the pit garage. If teams are allow to cover up everything during race weekend, then its not good for the sports image, fans cannot see whats going on.Quote:
