    Ferrari F142 - The F430 replacement

Lambo have responded to the F430 with the Gallardo LP560-4, a face-lifted version of the previous Gallardo which delivers a whopping 560 bhp from the V10 under the hood.
Any ideas as to when Ferrari are going to strike back? If so, what is in the pipeline?

I wonder if, now that ferrari have a new entry level v8 machine, they will put a v10 into the 430 replacement to distinguish it from the 'dino'. Would also be a homage to the v10's that dominated f1 at the turn of the century and allow them to easily up the power to 550hp and beyond.

    V10

Rumor has been for a while about the new F430 having a V10...
If it is a V10 it will be based on Paolo Martinelli's Ferrari V10 that we all know and love..

I've heard that the F430 replacement will apear in 2009, and that it will be more radical than its predecessor.

However, F142 must be only the internal Ferrari code, not the definitive name of the car, which is usually related to the engine displacement.

HIDEOUS!! I really don't like that grill

Is it me, is Ferraris' styling getting worse lately?
Anyway, hope that image is nothing but a rendering

So do I. But that was also supposed to be a pic of the "new F70".

The real one will be much more beautiful for sure, so don't worry
