I wanted to ask a question. I went to Maranello in 2009 and now I will go there again this August! I just wanted to know which is thecbest place to eat? Il Cavallino or Montana? I got only one evening in Maranello so I have to choose!

When I was there in 2009 I didn't have my driving license yet (17 years old then) so maybe I will do a drive in a Ferrari but I have to say it was really expensive 5 years ago already so I don't think that has changed during the yearsI will probably gonna eat at Il Cavallino then and Maranello Cafe is a good advice didn't know about that but could be nice! I will sleep in Maranello for one night but probably at the Planet Hotel because I have heard good stories about that hotel.

The drive is less than 150 in the California, they advertised its for 20 minutes but I was driving for more than half an hour and had 2 passengers (a small charge for each). Hello. Is anyone here from Croatia(if is here any) been in Maranello? I was wondering how much is total price of paytolls on italian highway. I'm planning to go this summer. Thanks
EDIT: I found toll calculator from Trieste to Bologna and it comes around 29.30 Euros cca

Hello F1NAC! Sorry Iam not from Croatia but I have been to Maranello last year! If you got time why not drive over ways without toll? You will see more of the Italian landscapes which I can really recommend

Hi. Thanks for response :). From my home is 4 hours driving so total will be 8 hours and because it's first time for me I don't want to rush and if it's possible check everything in Maranello.+ my car is petrol eater :D so its more eco driving on higway . I was wondering is it possible to rent a Ferrari car and drive around Fiorano?

It is possible I think to drive around in a Ferrari car at Fiorano but to be honest I don't know which company it offers! But the prices are ridiculously high...

Just came back from a trip to toscane.
On one day we changed the programme and we went to yes... MARANELLO!!!
I knew that the 488 Spider was waiting for me and I went in drove around the mountains for a little less then 1 hour but I thought YOLO! Also I went in the Ferrari FF, I just wanted to feel the V12 and Ferrari's first 4WD system.
Afterwards I concluded the 488 was more my kinda car
I got there a nice experience for back, the memories(USB-stick with HD Video), the ear porn from the exhaust, It was a long time ago that the hair on the back of my neck went straight up, but it definitely happened then!
Afterwards we went to the Museum and I bought myself some new Ray Ban Ferrari sunglasses.
Hero's come and go, but legends never die!

Well I am lucky in light of the way that I have family in Italy. Aunt and Uncle in Rome and my kin right currently lives in Cremona which isn't that long a drive from Maranello.

I have been to Maranello on 6 occasions so if you got any questions be my guest! If you got the time and the money I would do this! Begin your Maranello trip by a lunch at either Il Cavallino or Montana! Then visit the museum!
Tip: book a Ferrari Factory Bus Tour! You are not allowed to leave the bus or take photos on route, but it will still bring you inside the factory! They do a tour around the factory like the paintshop wind tunnel e.d. They also bring you to Fiorano where you can see Enzo Ferrari’s old house in the distance!
After that go to Modena for Museo Enzo Ferrari! There are less cars than in Maranello but the story of Enzo is told very beautiful! It’s also located in the house where Enzo grew up in his childhood! The architecture of the building is splendid!
When you are finished in Modena drive back and eat at Il Cavallino/Montana! In that way you are able to visit both restaurants! If you want to see the most memorabilia than Montana is the better choice! With lots of helmets and overalls from Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Niki Lauda and even Jules Bianchi
Hope you can something with my advice and dont’t forget: Forza Ferrari per sempre

Well actually it depends! If you like pasta better, you should go to Montana! If you like steaks and fancy food Il Cavallino is the choice!
