    2009 Ferrari F60 technical thread.

    Hi everyone.
I wonder if this page is in someway connected to the Ferrari F1 team?
I guess some of all thousands of ppl on this forum has some good idea that maybe they would like to share with Ferrari F1 team to help the team reach itīs goals.

Like myself have some ideas that maybe could be interesting for the team.
Is there anyway for me to share my ideas with Ferrari F1 team.

Another question is if someone knows where to get or could update detaled pictures of the lates version of the F60. For exampel picture on top of the rear end, picture of latest diffuser design, pictures of front wing and pictures under the frontwing/nosecone.

    Thanks, Per

No, it's not connected to the F1 team, well not officially anyway:

This site is 100% unofficial and has no connections whatsoever with Ferrari Spa.

Pictures like that are usually found in the image thread of every grand prix, and in the image packs of Sutton and F1-Live, if you can get your hands on them in some way or another

If this is a technical thread, I have a question....Im sure you have all noticed how the sidepods change almost constantly....the sidepods this year have a shape Im not accustomed to...wide opening at the top edge, inward curve toward the body....what is the purpose of such a huge change in the sidepod design? Does anyone know the advantages of such a design and why every car on the grid has this?

It's called an undercut sidepod. The splitter under the nosebox directs air into the channels formed under the wider top opening snd around to the low pressure zone formed by the cokebottle shape of the rear of the car.
