Nice spin Massa- he was lucky not to touch the walls.

Massa missed the wall by milimeters, turned around and his engine is off...yellow flags...Massa walking to the pits. Looks like his afternoon program was ruined.

Love the way Davidson always talks about people making mistakes, or "silly errors" etc. He's hardly the best driver to be saying these things!

Ah, that is the corner I meant!

I didn't realise they class the first kink as a turn.

Glock is off. Parked the car and getting craned out Hamilton style.

Looks like the car just died. Turn 12 I think.

They don't look that quick to me. We haven't been out of the garage for 15 minutes or so, track will have rubbered in a fair bit since then. And again, Alonso's times were set on a 5 lap stint, both of the Red Bulls didn't do that many laps - and also didn't have traffic.

Nothing to worry about, I think our pace looks great so far.

    There you go FerrariF60.

Alonso purple S2 and PB S3, matched his S1 just about.

    1.39.283

    Sector Times:

    26.3 Webber
    45.1 Alonso
    27.6 Vettel

    Ferrari have Massa's car back!

Hamilton out on the softer compound now. Could be heavily fuelled according to Ant though.

    Alonso on another quick lap.

    Purple S1 on a 26.3, just a little quicker than Webber's previous fastest S1.
Lost time in S2 though, 3 tenths slower than his PB and the quickest so far
Webber just did a 27.5 S3, quickest of all so far.

Alonso backed off, onto another quick lap now. Alonso is on soft tyres.

    Quickest Sectors:

    26.3 Alonso
    45.1 Alonso
    27.5 Webber

    Combined: 1.38.9

Hamilton, Alonso, Massa all out on the softer compounds.

    Unsure about the others.

Massa looks a bit ragged, track has rubbered in since he was last out though so needs a few laps.

Alonso pretty much matches his quickest lap so far, 0.027 slower. Lost a bit in S1 and S2 but PB'd S3.

Petrov has spun on the exit of Turn 10. Managed to get it into Reverse Gear and get moving.

Everyone on longer runs now, heavily fuelled race preparation. Tyres will be pretty wrecked by now.

From the times we’ve done so far, i think the updates are working really good (especially for Alonso; Massa’s engineers need to tweak his car a little bit more) and i think we’re going to give the Bulls and Mc Cheaters a run for their money this weekend, IF we keep up the pace that we’ve had so far, especially if we tweak the car’s balance a little more to get the best out of the package that seems to be working VERY good right from the start.

I’m very optomistic, and i can’t hardly wait for quali tomorrow

Forza Ferrari for a 1-2 at the end of the race on Sunday.

Alonso has also done a lot of laps in this session, a handful more than the red bulls and quite a lot more than both Mercedes cars and the McLaren's.

urghhhhh.........frustrating......cant believe both our guys have the same car below them....one on the top of the time sheets and other more than 1/3 behind..........Massa needs to buck up big time.....i was really happy when he showed better performance than Alonso (not that i hate Alonso...i love him....just that i expect more from Massa) in the FP1......he is lacking the aggression he showed in 2008 and the 1st part of 2009.....will be more than happy to be proved wrong.......
