Alonso has pulled away SO quickly now. He's 2.7s clear of Massa.

Vettel is now ONLY 2.6s behind Massa, rather than the 5s it was.

Encountering loads of traffic though, so that's why Massa has lost out.

Not really, not much different to Massa moving for Kimi or Kimi for Massa.

As a team it was a good decision as a F1 fan, not good at all but we must think of the bigger picture here... Poor MAssa but the favour will be returned one day no doubt... What we didnt want guys is Alonso fighting Massa for the win.. ALO was quicker...

Team orders are forbidden and they are playing with fire, specially with Rob saying that "Sorry Felipe".

if they can prove that message was a team order and i'm afraid they can, then we can expect a penalty and that would be a real shame

Smart move for ferrari. Massa is off the pace this season so tell me why does he deserve to risk the team losing the wdc??

Very disgusting indeed! Massa deserved this one and got stolen. I never thought that deep down Ferrari was still the team that did an austria back in the day. I feel very ashamed...

They've both driven amazingly, but I don't think the move was shameful - I didn't like it either mind you.

Kimi was asked to move over for Massa on occasions, same for Massa moving for Kimi. Massa just too far back in the championship now, Alonso still has a shot at it. It was the best decision to make imo. Doesn't take anything away from Felipe's drive at all. He will have been told before the race what the circumstance was.

Team orders have been in F1 for years - in fact I'm pretty sure there were some with McLaren in the last few years. Because they weren't leading it might not have been so obvious but still.

I am just sorry, Felipe has driven a great race, after a great start he was pulling away and even though he struggled a bit on the hard he really did a good job comming back to fight.
Of course this is cause of the championship, but its tragic to see that this is happening just halfway into the season...
Felipe you really deserved this one

Stop moaning guys. Wouldn't you rather have the WDC and potentially the WCC than just the WCC?

Massa will have known before hand what the circumstances are, as would Alonso if the positions were reversed. It's not nice, but Massa doesn't have a shot at the WDC anymore, Alonso does.

Well let's hope when the situation could be reversed next week that Alonso will return the compliment.
