I bet Massa wants to just scream!
You can't blame the engineer and driver, these decisions come from the top
"I don't want to be treated as special because I'm not. I just drive a racing car round in circles a bit faster than everyone else." Michael Schumacher
Massa was SUPERB today.
Full credit to him, he is back no two ways about it.
But Ferrari have got to think about the bigger picture. If we are going to beat Hamilton and Vettel in this era of F1, we are going to do it with Alonso, I love massa to bits, i wanted him to stay over raikonnen 100% but he isnt gonna beat Hamilton and Vettel in this era.
I'm just sickened by the fact its a year since we almost lost Massa and this is how Ferrari repay him.. :(
Of course it comes from the top but they're both professionals and I cannot believe that they wouldn't have thought of a scenario which Massa may have to allow Alonso to pass. Its not nice, but its the nature of the sport. Every team gives orders but they dont let emotions get the better of them.
It was just wrong that Rob was placed in that position. The relationship between driver & engineer should never be compromised-----------Stefano should do his own work !!!!!
Forza Jules
An enquiry is good. I don't really care if Ferrari gets penalised or not. If they don't then it will be a Green Light for RBR and McLaren to focus on one driver by changing the order in the race, making Alonso's job a bit harder as both RBR and McLaren drivers have been taking points away from each other so far.
Dominecalli is doing us proud today, he showed some real leadership, lie lie lie, whatever it takes we must do, just like the good old days.
Dont ever think Horner or Whitmarsh would give it a second thought, they would do it even quicker.
I do and don't agree with how we're handling this. Trying to cover it up is very bad and will make the situation worse. But, I do agree with the fact that the decision was up to Felipe. He was told the situation and he acted on it. As Rob said - he was very magnanimous. There was no specific order for him to move over.
You are sitting here insulting my team and there is not even a word of congratulations about Ferrari pulling off a stunning 1-2. Understand what happen was not ideal but thats racing..Ferrari cannot please everyone every single race.. you support a team and I think its spectacular that we came from where we were to the 1-2
we're number one
From what I have seen Jenson has only been told hold his place behind Hamilton. Now suppose they're running Jenson, Rosberg, Hamilton. McLaren would be free to order Jenson to move behind Hamilton so that Hamilton gains more points from coming second than third. Would have loved to see Vettel in between Massa and Alonso to see what Ferrari would have done in that situation.
so we're fine? no penalty? i was really worried about that
Life might be hard, Concrete is a lot harder
Coulthard and Brundle have been on fire today, i gotta give em credit, they were drivers, they know its all about the championship, nothing else.
I guess it depends how you look at it. Telling someone to hold station is not changing the outcome of the race because that's what the order was at that moment in time. Telling someone to slow and and move over is affecting the order. In any case, the investigation is good news for the other teams as they will find out how far they can go in terms of shuffling drivers.
