Many times with Hamilton and Kovalainen. Hockenheim and Silverstone 2008 to name just 2 instances.

Alonso was quicker but if they race each other they consume more fuel and then they both walk to the garage... what ferrari have done here is the smartess thing this year, why race each other? team first guys!!

If Massa was so slow, Alonso would of just passed him with out any problem. It's about the " message " not the pass.

Is Massa mathematically out of the WDC challenge? All the other examples were of team orders late in the season where the 2nd driver was already out.

Looks the right thing to do now, Vettel would have been on the back of Alonso

No, it's not nice I know. I cringed when I heard the message.

But I know when I look back on the race and the decision, I'll think it was the right call. So will Felipe - he's a team player. He knows how the system works. He will get a return if he is leading Alonso in the future in the championship.

Cmon guys are you serious? Do you want Massa to win this race or Alonso to win this championship? If Massa was closer to Slonso in the points then I would understand ure argument, but it is clear to me that it is Alonso that needs to win this race cause he is the 1 who will fight for Ferraris championship. I'm sorry for Massa fans but Ferrari have had this mentality for years, so why all this whinging about it? Championship comes first, and the press and others can say what they want but Ferrari have done the right thing here.
CUT ME. CUT YOU. BOTH OUR BLOOD IS FERRARI RED!

Massa is going to have Vettel on his gearbox if he doesn't step on it.

If we hadn't have made that call, both of our drivers would be under pressure.

Traffic for Massa is appauling though, lost so much time.

Mathematically Massa is still in with a shot but given so many potential winners such as Hamilton, button, Webber, Vettel and Alonso, Massa has no chance because its not like they cann all get a few DNF's for Massa to catch up.

I wouldn't be surprised if Massa loses out to Vettel now, that probably totally demoralised him and I don't blame him. Don't know why I bothered watching the race

With 7 laps to go, the gap between Vettel and Massa is becoming way too small. i fear for our 1-2

    Ted:

"McLaren say both cars are fine and just bringing them home. Webber managing his problem effectively. Not worried. Mercedes say they could have had the pace to get near Kubica but it hasn't worked out, cars are ok just no pace."
