Ah, a Schumacher fan. I used to be a Schumacher fan, but after he retired I kept supporting Ferrari which is the main reason for going to Monza of course. I have no problem with him driving for Mercedes and still respect him for his Ferrari years. It will be nice to see him racing again and I wish he does well, but not better than us of course I'm also very excited for the weekend and can't wait.

Yeah i did not plan to go to a race this year but then Michael came back, and then Monza was a exellent choise.
Very special place, and the exictment of the tifosi is really special.
So you have really something too look forward too.

Yeah since Michael quit, i have also allways supported Ferrari, but when the maister returned i had to stand by him regardless of the team. Ofcourse i wished he would be driving the red car again, but to have him driving after all is such a plessure, and i would never have hoped for it, so i was really estatic when he made the anouncment before christmas.
Ferrari has and will allways have a special place with me, but unfortunatly i have a problem with supporting them 110% now, cause what they did to kimi was really sad to watch, and i dont like Alonso, so in Ferrari it is Felipe all the way.

Wish grandstand will you be sitting in, i will be watching qualy and race from the piscina greandstand on the start/ finish straight.
While on friday i will have a look around at different grandstand too see the cars from various places.
Last year i sat at Ascari wish was an exellent place

On Saturday and Sunday I will be in the Alta Velocita 6A grandstand at the first chicane. I plan to walk around the track on Thursday and Friday to find some other good spots and hopefully take some nice pictures

Here you can see the views from the different grandstands: http://www.f1grandprixtours.com/ital...nd-images.php#

I know itīs late but better late than never I guess.

Itīs almost a month ago but I probably had the best weekend of my life at Monza. I never expected a pole and a win so it couldnīt have been better (except for a 1-2 ) We would like to go again next year but we'd want to stay a bit closer to Monza. This time it took us more than two hours to get to the track. We had to take the tram, metro, train and bus I will search for a hotel or even a hostel closer to Monza but I know that is not gonna be easy (or cheap )

The atmosphere was great but it didn't surprise or amaze me. Probably because the people were tense during the race. The moment that Alonso came out of the pits in front of Button happened just in front of our grandstand and everyone jumped up and cheered. Fantastic. I could see from the grandstand that Alonso was just following Button and could go faster.

I just want to thank everybody for the help from this forum as it helped me a lot. Here are some of my pictures:

Of course, here it is: http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...IMG_5376-3.jpg Let me know if the resolution is okay. It's resized as the original file was too big to attach to this post or upload it to Photobucket. If you want the original let me know. Pity the picture is not entirely sharp
