What is it with these other drivers, when they cant win they always in some way criticize alonso.
I never heard alonso make such negative comments during post race interview. I heard once when Lewser deliberately overtake the SC but that was not pinpointing and not on post race interview and Lewser deserved to be commented on that instance.

It's just a bit of harmless banter Alonso did his "quit your yapping" hand gestures on the slow down lap. That's 1 - 1

The hand gestures that look like hand puppets talking. That's how I interpret them anyway.

Oh that. Fernando does this when he wins a race to greet his folks at home who are watching him on the TV. Its a gesture from the 'chicken dance'.

Nah. One hand was chicken dance, the other "quit yer yappin" I'm trying to remember a time that Alonso got involved in banter, or practical jokes. Can't think of any.

Vettel seems a perfectly nice kid and he certainly has talent, but the words that come out of his mouth are no more 'naive' than were Hamilton's in '07. I have never found the claim of a 22 year old very credible to have a programme that was (a) in a foreign language (English) and (b) was popular a generation before his birth (Monty Python), as his entertainment of choice.

It's all part of the ingratiating process with the foreign, esp. the British, media that some young drivers are trained in nowadays. It's not god enough for them to be brilliant drivers, they have to be pretty and funny and clever and a bit naughty - but nicely so, like getting 'horny' mixed up with........well, whatever it was supposed to be confused with.

Call me an old cynic, but neither the "horny" nor the '08 Singapore references was a slip of the tongue or a 'youngster' audaciously joshing a respected double champion. But, one made no real sense in either English or German and the other didn't deflect Alonso from his main purpose, so that's alright

In 2008, Fernando stole Ferrari win in championship. I remember it, and you?
