Dear Clair,

Thankyou very much for your kind email. The messages of support from all the loyal fans really mean a lot to me personally. It is one of the things that drives me on to even greater effort knowing that in reality I am not just working for myself and the Ferrari team but all the fans worldwide like yourselves who invest so much time, effort and emotion into supporting us.

As you quite rightly point out 2011 has not been the easiest of years for me and Felipe. I personally have taken quite a bit of criticism from certain quarters of the press for the performance of this year (possibly quite rightly so) but to be perfectly honest it’s all part of the job. What is important is that we have the loyal support of so many fans around the world as you in reality are the basis for which the sport exists. A friend of mine told me some time ago that “what doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger” and I firmly believe the adversity that Felipe has faced this year will only help to strengthen his resolve for getting back to consistently winning ways in 2011 and beyond. He and I are totally committed to doing this and more over doing it with Ferrari.

We have arrived in Korea this morning and personally I’m looking forward to the challenge of this new track. It looks extremely interesting from a technical point of view and hopefully we can exploit this and come away with a victory. My personal goal for the last three races is that we maximise the team’s potential with Fernando whilst having Felipe finish the season in style.

As I can’t reply to each message individually can you please pass on this message.

Your welcome it is an honour for me to do it on your behalf Rob and Lucy no matter how busy always take the time to try and keep the fans involved and informed and I think we are pretty lucky in that respect I particularly remember how much effort Lucy and Rob put into keeping us informed after Felipe's accident and how overwhelmed and touched they were with everything this forum did for Felipe re the book, football shirt and charity donation. I don't think they have forgotten that
