Alonso improves into P1 on a 1.40.167. 7 tenths quicker than P1 this morning. Starting to show our hand a little now. Times at the end of this session will be representative. I think. The car looked mighty onboard, Alonso very committed.

That Red Bull looks incredibly stiff. That's amazing. Inside right is off the ground for half the lap!

The crew is changing the rear wing on Felipe's car. Now he is going to use the blown one

    Nice one Yamamoto. Stupid.

Spun on the inside curb, lost the rear, span the car and nudged the wall. He obviously span it around and has now stalled it or something in the middle of the circuit.

Red Flag. These Marshalls are just as bad!

Still nobody into the 39's, people improving the P1 time by thousandths at a time. Schumacher had it at 1.40.009, Button improved it by 3 thousandths to 1.40.006.

I was hoping for one of those ride-height-adjustment-levers Webber was talking about

Vettel has gone out on the soft compound, first of the front runners to do so, I think.

Button's rear brakes/exhausts on fire. Oh dear. Putting it out with a fire extinguisher.

Vettel on options down in S1 by 5 hundredths but purple and 2 tenths quicker in S2. Goes over the line, P1 by 8 tenths. 6 tenths quicker in S3.
