Adam Cooper seems to think they will have to pit at least twice or even three times in the dry- anyone heard any more on this? I knew they had problems with tyre degradation but not heard it was that bad? Aren't we good with tyres?

Tyres are going to be a big deal tomorrow IMO. Especially with the overnight rain. But, my guess is, whatever it effects us, it will effect RB more and Macca even more still.

FIA race stewards in Korea, one of which is 1980 World Champion Alan Jones, have handed Michael Schumacher an official reprimand for holding up Rubens Barrichello through five corners – Turns 10 to 14 - in Q2 qualifying on Saturday.

Williams’ Barrichello, former Ferrari team-mate of Schumacher, was left furious in Q2 as he was held up by the Mercedes when winding up for a flying lap.

After hearing opinions from both drivers plus senior team representatives, the stewards decided that a reprimand would suffice for the 7-time World Champion.

‘The stewards note that, irrespective of the team (Mercedes)’s opinion that car 9 (Barrichello) was not on a “fast lap”, it is ultimately the driver’s responsibility to be conscious of closing cars via the use of mirrors and blue flags/lights,’ reads an additional note on the bottom of the stewards’ report.

Alonso has said that they (teams) may have to make 2 pitstops. The harder compound isnt (taking long time) to get up to operating temp, and degrading heavily. Maybe something to do with the new surface.

could just well be a cracker. Be good race if dry aswell, im excited already, and ruddy nervous of having Crashilton right next to Fernando

think Felipe is in for good race this weekend, wasnt great qualie session for him, but there to get in the mix of it in race.

Nah, Fernando will be getting past Webber, he won't need to worry about Lewis.
Yeah Felipe is due a good race, I'm sick of his crappy luck.

is there anything Barrichello doesn't complain about when Michael is near him?

Just watched the Q again and I am really wondering why Felipe used two sets of options in Q2? His first run on options (others on primes) wasn't bad and if he he would finish the last lap in this stint the time would be better by another 4 tenths (only about 1 tenth of a second slower than the lap from his second stint), which means he would end the Q2 in 6th place with almost 1.5s reserve... This cost him I would say 4th place on the grid. Shame really

MS clearly blocked him though? Ferrari made a complaint about Nico for blocking Alonso in practice, not much different Maybe Rubens has good reason to have a problem with MS we all seen what he has done this season and not just to Rubens

Positive mental attitude required here. Chill and have an early night ready for an early wake up call in the morning.
Good luck to both of our drivers. Drive safely and quickly.

i guess i must have missed that, because i found out that someone blocked Rubens only when he told it on radio. i just read somewhere that Ross said Barrichello wasn't really on fast lap. damn, shouldn't believe everything he says then my bad
but it's Michael who does the trick, the fact that we haven't seen him doing them for past 3 years, doesn't mean he doesn't know how to do them

I got the feeling that the main contenders, except Fernando, were tight in some way after quali: Hamilton seemed a bit at odds with himself, Jenson rather confused (I think he's really out of, sad to say), Mark Webber tense and I didn't catch what Vettel may have said, but Fernando positively delighted with third - clean side of track!

I must say comments about the possibity of running out of engines for FA from Stefano have given me the jitters, but that's all in the lap of the gods!!!

So, may the gods be with you tomorrow guys. Good luck all

tbh, it's a product of the fact that they cross each other's paths a lot during GP week-ends and that's because they are at the same point on the track a lot.

With their history, it's gonna be big news every time.

Having said that, it is becoming a B-grade Senna-Prost tussle somewhat
