    1553: Not long to go before qualifying starts. Mercedes boss Ross Brawn is being interviewed by Lee McKenzie and he says tyre choice is going to be "pretty tricky". "We only have four sets of intermediates and we have used one set already," he says. "The forecast is for rain halfway through qualifying so the challenge is when to use them."

    Track is just going to get quicker and quicker and quicker.

    Purple's popping up all over the place, even for the slower drivers.

    Liuzzi will get a penalty for that surely.

    I doubt they will use slicks in quali, unless a dry line appears.. And more rain seems to be coming.
