Right, that's the best of the Red Bull tyres over then. Alonso just about matching their pace now.

Now, eat them up RBR, eat them up!

Edit: Correction, I was wrong. Just lost 7 tenths. Sheesh.

I'm not sure but maybe because of higher downforce, they can save the tires a bit. With less downforce, you need more from the tyres. Only a guess...

Lots of discussion on the RBR pitwall.

They are clearly wanting to make a switch!

Vettel said he doesn't want to help Webber so now let's see what he does when team orders come into play...

Na no way Red Bull's would execute team orders. As Christian Horner says ""it would be frustrating [if Alonso won the title] because we've obviously worked under the auspices that team orders are illegal."" .

With more downforce, the car slides around less and therefore produces less wear on the tyres

Red Bull will do nothing because Webber only needs to win the last race to be champ. Of course I do not think Webber has what it takes to do that though :D

Webber is really going for it now despite overheated brakes. I suppose RB was preparing for a switch. No matter what they say, they are hypocrits anyway.
