Rollercoaster Year
What an incredible year this has been, some of the happiest memories and also some of the worst memories I hav from watching F1. Overall a very positive year but it got me thinking, what are your highs and lows from 2010?
Highs:
1. Monza - Incredible victory and I was there to soak up the incredible atmosphere. Stood below the podium celebration a Ferrari 1-3
2. Bahrain 1-2 - What a fantastic way to start the new season!
3. Singapore - Drive of the season for me
4. Hungary - Alonso driving on the limit to make sure Vettel wasn't able to stay ahead after his drive through
5. Korea - The moment I really really believed Alonso could win the championship. Fantastic tyre management and amazing pace near the end. I feel he would have beat Vettel this day regardless.
6. Germany - Despite the controversy any Ferrari 1-2 is a high point. I'm sure Massa will get a win next year.
Lows:
1. Abu Dhabi - The race where we lost the championship when different decisions could have led to a very different outcome.
2. Monaco - Finding out Alonso couldn't take part in qualifying was a massive blow. I thought he was on to fight for the victory that could have turned the season around again.
3. Valencia - Early in the race I had hopes we could have jumped Hamilton at the pits but we all know what happened when the SC came out...
4. Silverstone - Poor Start, forced off the track by Kubica and a badly timed SC sent Alonso to the back. The championship chances looked very very bleak
5. Spa - Poor qualifying, rammed by Barrichello on the first lap and ultimately spinning out of 8th place.
I can't quite believe the season is over...races like Bahrain and Australia don't seem that long ago. Roll on 2011!
