I CAAAAAAAAAAAANT WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 DAY TO GO
I think its about 11 hours to go..im from aus.. i got in to work early.. bad move, should have kept sleeping so the time went faster >:(
7pm my time i think.. its killing me!!!!!
I won't see it live but all I hope for livery-wise is NOT TOO MUCH WHITE.
Forza Jules
I really don't care how it looks as long as it is the FASTEST and most reliable car on the grid.![]()
Forza Jules
I'm a bit concerned what they will do with that new logo. Hope they don't shove it on the nose in place of the usual Ferrari badge - I doubt it. The old engine cover design has got to be replaced so I assume they will plonk it on there - which will look awful.
Tricolore was on the sidepod fins last year, tiny. Wondering where that is going to feature more prominently. Wings? Engine cover?![]()
Yeah I'm assuming the new logo will be where the barcodes were.
Don't they normally release photographs before the actual live launch? Maybe I'm being overly optimistic to hope for something before the proper unveiling...
Forza Jules
Bah. It's terrible being naturally impatient.
Forza Jules
I would prefer a very fast ugly car to a beautiful tortoise!!!!
If it was possible I would love an entirely red car no black, white or tricolour. (not going to happen I know)
We did have one some years ago might have been 2008-----it was just gorgeous.![]()
Forza Jules
I don't wanna wait anymore! I'm going to try to go to sleep soon, then when I waken up it's launch time!
I was thinking about how they might use the new logo too, they might do something like this? (excuse my awful photoshop skills, but I was bored!)

Can someone please, please capture the video, and post it up when we in the USA can see it? Don't post it up before you see us on, though as they will probably take it down.
Unless the Ferrari site has a free video....

Incase anyone didn't know it's expected the car will launch with the 2010 front and rear wings but modified with this years regulations. We will see the real wings later on.
Eve of Ferrari F150 “premiere”
Maranello, 27 January – Feverish preparations are taking place in Maranello on the eve of the presentation of the new Formula 1 car with which Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro will take part for the 62nd time in the World Championship. Attending the presentation ceremony, in a marquee erected inside the factory will be the FIAT President John Elkann and its Managing Director Sergio Marchionne, as well as representatives of the Scuderia’s partners, including the President of Santander Bank Emilio Botin and the President of Brembo Alberto Bombassei.
Late in the afternoon, the ritual of applying the final touches to the livery took place, under the watchful eyes of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, who arrived in Maranello shortly after lunchtime.
The new Ferrari F150 will be revealed tomorrow at 10 o’clock and it can be seen with live streaming on the web at www.ferrarif150.com. Highlights, interviews and other content relating to the car will be available at the same address, once the presentation ceremony is over. The only technical requirement to view this is the installation on a computer of the Flash Player 10 plug-in.
The event will be broadcast live on RAI 2 from 9.45 to 11.00 and on Rai Sport 1 from 9.45 to 11.15. A link up through the internet site means that visitors to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the theme park dedicated to the Prancing Horse marque on Yas Island, will also be able to follow the ceremony. Over one hundred accredited media from thirteen countries will attend the event.
If the weather is good enough, some promotional filming linked to the new livery, will take place in the afternoon at the Fiorano track, with Fernando Alonso at the wheel. The next day it will be Felipe Massa’s turn, when the backdrop at the company’s private test track, will be provided by fans from the Scuderia Ferrari Club. However, the real debut for the F150 takes place next Tuesday, 1st February at the Ricardo Tormo circuit at Cheste, near Valencia, when the first official test session gets underway. The test schedule sees Alonso driving on the first two days, while Thursday it will be Felipe who slips into the cockpit of the new car.

It really annoys me that Ferrari are the 1st ones to unveil their car. Its bad enough that some secrets about the car have allready been leaked to the media, and now we are gonna add to it by tellin everyone what other new features of our car are before all the others do. The rest of the teams will watch tonight and then will either use our ideas or work hard to come up with something better.
I know im moaning but it just annoys me. I wish for once we could do the opposite and maybe have a jump start on everyone by allready knowing what they are up to.
Anyway, i pray that our car is sooooo good it wont matter. Or maybe Ferrari will just show off the the outside and not go into to much detail about their developments inside, leave us all guessing. I prefer that!
FORZA FERRARI!
CUT ME. CUT YOU. BOTH OUR BLOOD IS FERRARI RED!
Don't feel so down dfunk
There are some good things about being first/early. It makes a statement that we are in control and on schedule. Things are running smoothly - that's a good thing.
Next, don't worry about what we show today, I promise you, Ferrari will definitely not give any secrets away, they will carefully show exactly and only what they want to show. They will use wings from last year (front and back). Everything is v ery carefully stage managed and, if something is shown it will be because we want it shown. There will be as much stuff to throw the other teams off as there will be new things to see.
Remember, by now, all the chassis (of the main contenders) have been homolgated, so even if we show something on our chassis now, it can't be copied.
Relax and enjoy the show
