Exactly! People need to pay more attention instead of hearing only what they want to hear!

You also have to consider Alonso had one more team racing against him, his own! He was on Lewis' team, and with all the help on earth, Lewis still couldn't shake him off. Let's see how Nico Roseberg does this year, under what will be IMO the same situation.

Remember uncle Ron's famous comment at China? "We are not racing Ferrari/Kimi we (Lewis Ron & Co.) are racing against Fernando". If I recall correctly, it was so bad, the FiA had to put an official "observer" in the team to ensure that Nando at least got the basics so he could race. Nando was racing with his own team plotting to beat him, and he still ended up with the same number of points.

Trust me if I were him, it would have meant no less than a WDC for me

Just wondering what would happen now in 2011 if things get real bad, with regards to what we all know is now legal for teams to use. Who at the FIA would would suggest putting an official "observer" in a team like say Merc or our team for that matter.Seeing how the FIA pres. is non other than the admitted king of driver preferences, especially at Merc where he practically raised Ross and the chin in F1. His son Vinny Todt on the other hand is Massa's mgr. and our #3 reserve driver Jules Bianchi's Mgr. also. Who will send an observer to check them or us out if things get one sided in an ugly way?

As the president of FIA, Todt is most probably overseeing management rather than operation at the FIA. There are so many other racing series under the FIA, I doubt Todt could personally make decisions like that for each racing series.

...that and the fact that JT deliberately chose to remove himself from the role of interfering operationally like his predecessor did. Some people can't believe that is possible for an FIA president to do, but he seems to be doing it pretty well so far.
