Looks like the top wing element has different edges, with the top set having a sharper edge.

Yea the top wing is the old one, the one below is the new one - much wider wing supports and flat edges on the top element.

Ah yes, the beginning of the inevitable yet pointless photo opportunities. Next will be MW de-fluffing a wallaby or Lewis getting nicked for a traffic offence...

the bottom wing, where the main wing meets the end plates, it is a incline (gentle) while on the top wing (old. if you like) it has a sharpe incline then sudden drop. The endplates are alot more shaped this time, looks as if not so simple as we saw last years. They come alway to the top of the end plate. There is also a splitter (turning vain) in between the 2 big turning vains behind the wing supports on the new wing.

i think the new wings have arrived, but maybe they've been covered up, and i dont think ferrari will let them be photographed so early.

IMHO I don't think we can use "so early" any more. The first race is at hand and all must be seen by the FIA and most will be seen by photographers. What has been done is done... All the new ideas and inovations will have to wait till Turkey or even Spain.

Now it is time so show the cards and let the drivers do the talking! Let them roll...

Thanks for the explanation! I could definetly tell that one was the "old" and one was the "new". I'm just curious if Ferrari has another wing in store that they are hiding. Also, why did they bring both new and old wings? Hopefully they don't have a problem like RB last year when Vettel got a new wing fitted and Webber got the old. You would assume by now they(Ferrari) would know which wing works best.

Hey guys yes you are right, they have brought 2 different wings to Melbourne, I took plenty of pics of them today.
I took the most fantastic photos today but unfortunately I can't upload them until I get back home.
But I got in and above pit lane today and got some great shots of the garage and the mechanics doing practise pit stops from above, can't wait to show all of you.

    Cheers.

    Quite funny - "That's not a knife..."

Some more pics on new cars from Melbourne. This one made me think - Mercedes has a twin radiator in the side pods...

Yea, Scarbs will be writing an article about it soon. He's only written this so far:

double stacked radiator arrangement with the mercedes sidepods. This explains the splitter seen inside the sidepod inlet.

have 2 sorts of wing for race weekends. The newer wing, looks as if it will produce a bit more downforce and help with front end grip and air flow around side and under the floor. While the "old" wing looks as if it will produce bit less downforce.

    I can't remember exactly...
Sauber said it happened because of the high side pressure...
