Yeah there's a front end downforce problem. As in Ferrari's wing/nose doesn't flex like RB's.
In order to have a moveable aero device, all we have to do is pass the FIA's load test, why not have a mechanical thing that will move the wing up and down during the race, and keep it absolutely rigid during the FIA tests. Tell me how that is more illegal than what RB is doing? We could just say, "Hey, they use the wind to move theirs, but we use a mechanism. Both can pass the FIA test, so both have to be legal." At the very least this will prompt the FIA to do something about it, like putting real time sensors on the wings/nose to monitor movement.
yeah, surely it won't be too long until the FIA will react to this.. as this is just taking the mick!
Michael Schumacher - the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be!
Stole this off someone's blog

Like Arnie would say, "Come on", some do something about this.
".....Test in wind tunnel showed the same thing we knew, downforce not enough to allow exploit Pirelli in an appropiate way.
New suspension regulations were tested with not good results and as weight distribution is fixed by regulations we only can hope in the Malaysian hotter wether."

If that's true, it seems more a quote from HRT rather than Ferrari... how did they manage to not see that before?
If the car needs a certain weather to perform, forget about the engineers, hire a shaman.
I don't see how that can be true, Barcelona was cold all through the winter and they didn't have these problems.
Anyway, we're more likely to see hot races from now on, aren't we? I mean, all the year the teams suffer from overheating problems rather than track being cold... with a little of luck, we're going to have a good setup in the next races and hopefully our problem of not heating the tyres will help us massively to save tyres...
I know I am being too optimistic, but I have to![]()
i dont know but i cannot believe in that....if its true what the hell were they doing in winter???i just cannot believe in that

I like this no news approach from Ferrari..hopefully they have something up their sleeve and they will back with a bank in a week.
however as a fan i am nervous as heck.. at what point do we give up? i remember 2005 and 2009..sad years they were. and with the heart break of 2010 end I would not be able to do with a repeat of the lean years in 2011.
we're number one
Yes, Ferrari has been very quiet....I like that...hope they come out swinging...
That's what other sport governing bodies do, more powerful tests because doping is never standing still.
I think Briatori knew about that before he talked to the media but we have to wait a couple of races. Let's see what happens in Malasia and China before we jump the gun or have a knee jerk reaction.
You never know, I think most races last year were colder than usually.
Do you guys remember Imola 2005? The car was all year bad but that race the tyres performed very differently and during the race Schumacher was by far the quickest car. I think the Australian track was too cold or wasn't abressive enough to be exploited by the car. this track is very slippery and it is very very gentle on the tyres. with Malaysia we will maybe see the real Ferrari of the winter test.
i hope indeed u are right, and i am as optimistic... but lets not be blind to the fact that red bull is fast everywhere. that's the more realistic problem we should consider. we cant hope to have "real" tracks all the time that will suit the ferraris... besides, our cars shouldnt really be picky with tracks and temperatures?
If mcmowers can transform there car in a few weeks then so can Ferrari. All eyes are going to be on them in malaysia they better come good!
