i dont really care who gets pole. And Fernando Massa is my favourite driver. Second is Felipe Alonso.

The front wing introduced at the Barcelona test always a slight bow look to it when viewed from the top. I don't know about the nose though. It could just be an optical illusion.

Sorry if this is a re-post, I haven't seen it. Interesting article from BBC/Mark Hughes.

"But that is not the full picture. There are two things currently confusing Ferrari about their car's performance.

Teams measure the aerodynamic loadings on their cars during testing in order to confirm the figures their simulation tools suggest they should have.

While figures from the initial version of the car tallied well, a subsequent aero upgrade package did not deliver as much additional downforce as the wind tunnel and other analysis said it should - although it was still better.

The second troubling factor is that aero tests conducted during first practice in Sepang revealed that those figures seen in Barcelona testing were not being attained, even after allowance was made for the lower density of the muggy Malaysian air.

Some small changes made in the car's constant evolution are evidently having an adverse effect.

"It's a very difficult thing to understand," said Costa. "Some aspect of the car is underperforming aerodynamically, some component is not working as we believe and now we have to find out what it is before we go forward with further development.

"We will conduct further aero tests in China on the Friday and then we will be doing a straight-line test when we get back to Europe."

So not only is the aero not doing what was expected based on the wind tunnel, it's not even as good as when tested in Spain pre season.

Also... both Mclaren and Red Bull have brought big (compared to us) update packages this weekend... especially Red Bull. Hopefully they fail... *fingers crossed*
Yeah, but there is no harm in wishing. I heard about the RedBull, but arent McLaren just bringing the same thing that didn't work foe them at the last race?

so it is like redbull silverstone last year. only one driver may race with the new wing. maybe that bodes well for the flexiness

Very dodgy source, they also say in another article Michael is ready to quite F1 after just two races this season. Until its confirmed I don't buy it. Im sure and hoping Ferrari have enough resources to provide for both drivers (this is not HRT). But i suppose given it's only been a week it could be understandable that they could only produce one.

Not really because redbull produced for both but Vettels broke so they gave Webbers to him which is kinda a bigger deal.

Ferrari ‘will have’ flexible wing – Costa. So i am about 90% sure that one will be on its way in Turkey.

Ferrari is on the cusp of re-joining Red Bull on the path of flexible front wings.

The Italian team's cars had a wing that bent towards the ground whilst satisfying the FIA flexibility tests last season, but in 2011 the wing on the 150 Italia car is much more rigid.

Asked why Ferrari did not keep its flexible wing this season, technical director Aldo Costa said: "It was not possible with the new, more stringent test for measuring the flexibility of the wings.

"Red Bull, however, succeeded and passed the tests. We have studied the situation carefully and now we will have the same solution," he told Finland's Turun Sanomat newspaper.

"We know what our biggest problem is, but solving it quickly is more difficult," the Italian said.

"We are trying solutions in Shanghai, which I hope will improve things," Costa continued.

"If they don't bring the results we expect, we have a big development in front of us," he added.
