It was a very good start by Alonso - why cant he get off the line that well every race?

Possibly because he was starting from 4th rather than 5th this time. The three in front of him clearly were watching and juggling with each other and were pretty surprised to see FA coming up the inside. As Brundle said it was not only brilliant but brave. As a young driver in a not so good Renault Fernando came to notice as a great starter - always making up places and keeping out of trouble. It was a pleasure to see him doing just that again and long may it continue.

It was excellent to see and it was supreme driving and bravery just hope the car can improve very quickly now so he can take advantage.

Yes it was a great start but remember: the space has to be there before you can use it - and that is something we call luck. So this is not a guarantee it will work again next week.

Yep, i'm still loving watching that over & over His commitment and bravery was brilliant, with no lift of throttle whatsoever. He was coming through!!! I absoultely loved it....one of my absolute favourite favourite F1 moments of recent times at least. Sensational stuff.

absolutely loved FA's start - twas the highlight of the race for me 'coz my prayers for Lewis to take Seb out while trying an overtaking move were not answered. in the end, that would have only meant 3rd for us anyway :(
total commitment, i even missed it the first time since i was watching the Bulls fight Lewis..
