Alonso's race starts

Alonso's starts are not his best point it seems. Although I must admit he really had not much options to go to today, it was a bit unlucky perhaps.

I think he had a decent start today. Unfortunately those Renaults were flying. But I admit that unlike Massa, he's quite slow off the grid.

Nah his starts are fine, it's more of a luck thing. I guess he could be a little bit more aggressive but that could backfire.

Alonso looks like, either he will have a bad start, or he will be squeezed in the first corner...
No way problem of the car, because Felipe probably has the best starts on the grid.
Felipe and Schumacher I think last year have won the more places in race starts...

His start in Australia and today were ok but it seems he has been unlucky in the first corner the last two races. In general last year his starts were poor though.

In Australia and Malaysia he was away at the same pace as those in front into the first corner but got unlucky when he got there.

2 Renault drivers had amazingly good starts during the last 2 races
It cannot be pure luck. Maybe they have a better traction control system

It seems he gets off the line just fine (talking about this year), no slower than the rest, but in Australia he got squeezed off by Button and today he was bottled behind a slow moving Webber. I'm not sure if these 'excuses' are good enough, but it seems to me like luck hasn't been on his side this year yet. Now let's see how he does in the races to come, hopefully he manages to break this annoying trend.
The Renaults, though, seem to be absolute rockets off the line... and we need to do something about it, because they will always be there lurking.

From what I've seen he's just unlucky and other drivers push him and block him more than Massa for example, who almost always has great starts due to a clean path around him.

The Renualt has got awesome traction as we could see from cars trying to pass them; as they did look hard to pass due to the amount of speed they could take after the corner or traction.

I think alonso is being extra cautious at the start... He gets off the line ok he just gets muscled out of the way... No point leaving the race at the first corner...

ın 2010 a lot of bad starts from him.after that he returns to fight and overtake everybody one by one.but it effects race starts,tyre conditions,struggle car so much and no chance to win.if you want to win a race it is not ideal to start like this.i trust him so much,we all know who is fernando.he must improve and he will.he will teach them how make a start.

first 2 races, Alonso has found himself in unfavourable parts of the track at turns 1 and 2, though he did have a comparatively slower start in Melbourne. I think he has this mentality that he justs want to avoid trouble in the first few turns, and rely on his race pace to pick people off, thus the not too aggressive starts we've seen from him.

They need to fix it ASAP, there is a clear explanation about why his starts are not good, just check the data and try to fix it.

i remember his monza start was not that good, i think he had it most of the season

it is not about only luck we can not say that.luck plus concantrate because he doesnt like buttons on steeringwheel.for first race yes he was unlucky,second maybe but third one is not.remember renault years he had a lot of good start because of renault launch control or starting system whatever it is.look at renaults now they are flying in starts still.but nando also was bad in Abu Dhabi 2010,British Gp,Italy,Japan...First three races of this season he is in a trouble like 2010.In this case there is no chance to look after your tyres.you fight with traffic,slow cars,proteckt yourself from trailer.according to this strategie is effecting from these bad starts.
