I love the speed broadcast because Steve machett is so knowledgeable on f1 technology. I only watch the BBC coverage when ferrari wins, because I love to see eddie and the rest of them eat humble pie.

That's part of what bugs me. My problem is that I take it all WAY too personally, and end up in a bad mood all afternoon if they've said something horrible about Felipe. Like Eddie commenting yesterday that Felipe had brought his mum and dad with him, insinuating that it was because he was about to be fired or something!!

Don't worry. someone put him in his place by calling him a 'fiery potato' don't know why they said potato, but EJ was flabberghasted and DC and Jake were very awkward between them

could be classed as racist if it's a reference to his nationality. If they'd told him to keep his hair on it would have been funnier!

I don't really take much notice of EJ, he pipes up alot about all his inside knowledge of what's going on, but quite often it turns out to be alot of hot air and no substance. Remember Rob Smedley and Felipe supposedly last year running off in a tantrum after the German Grand Prix to Sauber or something - that all came to nothing!

EJ is what my dad would call a "blethering skite". He talks a lot but not much of substance comes out so you learn to treat it all as "blether" (or blarney in his case i guess!).

Jake has seemed to of jumped on the British media band wagon of hating, if hating is to strong a word, then disliking and put Ferrari down all the time. Imagine this,,,, Ferrari by mid season start to dominate (please please ). Then how many interviews with Christian im so smug smug about our flexi wing Horner and how much will they start outside the RBR garage?? They would hate it.

As few people have mentioned in above posts, Ant doesnt really run Ferrari or the drivers down. Dc doesnt'ish

As long as they don't get Maurice-Hamilton(s biggest fan) on the box. I would happily shoot him with a nail gun if I got close enough. Legard was nothing compared to him

    Nah, wouldn't think so??

Anyway I could think of MUCH more offensive things to call him.

Here's EJ waving to Felipe as his mum and dad walk past (two-faced git). Clearly this is the basis for his expert knowledge of Felipe's future.

If Felipe slapped all those people who talk bad about him in the last weeks his hand would hurt too much to race.

I get the races on TSN () so I get to hear Brundle and Coulthard. Well, most of the time I hear them as I tune them out
when they start their lovey-dovey comments on all the "great" things McLaren is/does/wants because it's nauseating.
I even welcome the commercial breaks, at that point!!

btw... Does anyone know why we don't get the "pre-race" show, anymore?

Maybe they did that because when potatoes get old, they're all eyes and no brain??
