It will be a good idea for Ferrari to make sure the stuff that's already on the car works first. Like Fernando's DRS. That should be plan A
I'm for whichever plan they think will work and I trust our guys on the ground and at the Gestione to
execute whatever is necessary. FORZA FERRARI!!!
That’s already been addressed at and FIXED as per Fernando’s blog on Ferrari website.
All we have to do now is evaluate in FP1 the new bits of aero along with new front wing (hopefully a FLEXY one) that we’re gonna bring in China, and if they work that would be amazing and no need for Plan B.
Forza Ferrari SEMPRE!!!
I wouldn't necessarily interpret a new wing to mean a flexing one.... it could simply be a more track specific wing....
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
Without a flexi-front, Felipe took Webber and Nando took Button - both convincing moves. The F150 could not do that unless it was fundamentally a solid contender.
We just need our pit crew to get their act together and the team to concentrate on making the F150 more competitive in qualifying. Nando and Felipe-Baby will do the rest.
Wonder when the F-150 jokes are going to start....
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
Ive got a plan C for them. Scrap this years car, Copy Redbulls Design and with alonso`s talent it will be easy pickings...
Ive also got a plan D. Sack The derrari big wigs and employ krusty the clown. Bound to do a better job than luca di montezemolo.

Does anybody know what the upgrades for China will be? Is there a official statement or something more or less official from Domenicali or Costa?
Yup,
http://www.ferrari.com/english/scude...portunity.aspx
new front wing and a few other aero updates
This is our problem. While Red Bull found a way to make their wing continue to flex (along with the nose) we *assumed* that it could not be done.Costa was asked his opinion of the Red Bull front wing, given what Ross Brawn had to say on the subject in the FIA press conference. “Our opinion regarding the approach adopted this winter in the design office is similar to that of Mercedes. Maybe we were a bit naīve, but now we are working on various ideas for the front wing and we will come out with a flexible one soon, which we hope will work well.”
We are not trying to beat the rules but instead are abiding to the spirit of the rules. This is the major issue.
All the recent major innovations; DDD, FDUCT, Flexi-Wing, EBD are against the spirit of the rules. As long as our designers think the way they have for the past couple of years we will be at a deficit.
I hope that the team now realizes that this is our major problem and we will have innovation going forward.
I hope we have some team working on finding a way to flex our rear wing or mirrors lol.
I hope our mechanics practice their pit stops, or this will all be for nothing. We need at least 3.4 pit stops.
Not only that, how many times the World Champions have adhere to the spirit of the rules?
Very few times.
Fast and faultless pit stops are critical this season, I think we did better last year on that respect.
Don't sack anybody just yet, ok?![]()
Plan A please work![]()
@Tony...I knew nothing good would come naming a car after a Ford..
we're number one
I dont feeel anything will change in China except for our luck. The car is fast in race trim and i think this time we shud be able to get the podium which has come so close but eluded us.
But lets not expect miracles. Every team is going flat out so expecting to jump from team 3/4 to team 2 or team 1 is unreasonable. However, our drivers i think are capable of punching above their weights and that might be the difference. Inspite of our results, i still think we will be doing better than last year.![]()
