So, that's it. If Vettel wins another 5 races more you would still think Ferrari should not take more risks? Support the team, the drivers, blah, blah, blah... And that's it?

    I want fans like this.
Well first of all I would support the team because that is my key (and only) role within Ferrari. Ferrari want fans like that I believe!

Also, I wouldn't assume that anyone has suggested that Ferrari don't take more risks to meet the situation. I do think most people appreciate that Ferrari don't trawl web forums looking for ideas that they don't already have, and that they have more experience and idea how to react than either you or I.

Alonso is doing his best. Massa is doing his best. Ferrari are doing their best. It's a team ya know

As another poster has pointed out, what do you expect us to do? Do you blame Ferrari for not reacting within 4 days between the last race and this one? Do you blame Alonso for letting the gap slip between him and his team mate this week-end? No, of course you wouldn't because that's not how it works.

Your suggestion to take everything to the limit...... how does that work exactly? You suggest they should just aim for a few podiums by sacrificing reliability?

Do you think that we should panic and just ***** everything at turning the car into the equivalent of the 2005 Macca, which was lightning fast but failed to win because it was unreliable - despite the fact that your mate Alonso won 2 WDC's (one in the same year) by having not the fastest but the most reliably consistent car?

Did you read what has been said about the number of average points that are required over 19 races to win it (based on previous years) and the fact that we are pretty much meeting that so far? We know that reliability is the key thing that Ferrari have concentrated on before the start of this season and you can bet that Alonso has been a key advocate of that approach too because he understands its importance in winning titles more than most.

I don't mean to rant at you Grillo but taking your frustration out on Ferrari fans on TSN because they don't think that knee-jerking after 2 races is synonymous with being the type of fan you want them to be, is not really fair or appropriate IMO

Forza Ferrari (and all who sail in her and support her)

They might introduce 'new rules' for next season, but this one is done.
IIRC, the FIA banned Renault's mass damper late in the 2006 season, but maybe that was when FIA meant 'Ferrari International Assistance'

Last season we read the same comments. But Ferrari came back and Fernando made all the others fear the Reds. We did not win, but we showed everyone that as long as there are enough points to be given, Ferrari should never be counted out.
That was then, and nothing is different now.

I think there's only one thing Ferrari can do if Vettel wins more races. It's 25 points every win this season, if the F150º is only a few tenths down to make it win races then they should push the engine, the gearbox, etc. to the limit. It might last less than the 4 races, the FIA penalise the driver every 3 races with 10 grid places but if that helps you win races that's the way to go. That's my opinion and what I meant with this thread.

The other option is just keep the normal working rate within the normal reliability parameters and... Let's see if something happens. I know there has to be an aerodynamical improvement in the F150 to even try that but I can't see an upgrade alone closing the gap with Red Bull any time soon. Probably we'll have to wait for the major upgrade scheduled for Turkey or Barcelona and then see where every team/car stand.

Ok, I see many of you are looking at this season as any other normal season or as it was last year. Wrong. You haven's seen such a dominant car/driver any other season since 2004 Ferrari/Schumacher. Do you expect Webber to finish many times ahead of Vettel this season? Keep that in mind and remember this season you get 25 points per win, if you are penalised and start 10 positions back every three races it might be worth it. I don't expect Ferrari reading or listening what we say on a forum but it's not stopping me from saying it.

Now if you have nothing to say or you just want to say how much you love Ferrari and how much I should love Ferrari, just keep it to you.

this season doesn't seem like a walk in the park for Vettle/Redbull. The McLaren boys are doing an awesome job closing onto vettle and soon the Ferrari should be all over them. Just a matter of time and patience (and a lot of hard work ofcourse)

At least (ive been saying that too much for my liking) Gene said that wind tunnel issues are solved. that, and our good race pace are the only bits of good news i have has today. I would like to think i'm and optimistic guy, but if the 'Plan B' for turkey doesn't work, then maybe that is the end.

But i'm sure it will work. And until then, we just have to keep getting podiums. And if only Alonso had good stars. then we may have been looking at 2 podiums. if only...

But, RedBull will have to hit a bumpy part in the season. lets just watch the race. all it takes is an overzealous move by Button or Vettel at the start, and Fernando and Felipe taking Rosberg at the start for a Ferrari 1-2

You are being very arrogant and patronising there dude. What I had to say you just ignored anyway

Maybe you should stop acting like your driver is the almighty and that everyone except him and you don't know the score about Ferrari and F1.

OK Its time for a radical new set of tactics with regard to Redbull.

As fans a possible new tactic would be for us all to donate to a fund so that we can get a shady lady to seduce Vettel and get him well drunk on the night before a race so that his head cant stand the noise of the engine and reduce his energy levels for the race.

    anyone ??????????????

    Could work Ken

I mean it worked when we had strategic burger vans placed around the track when Montoya was driving for Macca. His car slowed dramatically!

That's true, there are a few positives this season and a very important change from last season with the new Pirelli tyres. If we the new aerodynamic kit works as expected we might be able to aim for the win soon but we need to get a boost and be comfortably faster than Renault and Mercedes in Q3.

I think it will work but Red Bull aren't going to stay still. After Turkey or Barcelona there will be a clearer picture of the Championship.

Or you could just bring a Jeremy clarkson and a Hammer to Vettel's car. An if he gets caught, you can just cover up the number and say 'this is Marks' that should do.

'take that Newey, and your stupid back end. oh and no more drs for you. lets just smash the pedals a little bit aswell.'

ive been hearing that the cooler temps in china have been suiting them. that is true if you look at it. the gap to Mac is the same, but RB have managed to get the gap similar to what it was in Aus. Now then they didnt use KERS, so maybe weare now closer than we were there

Make a front wing out of titanium. It won't flex an inch but you can ram opponents out of the race left and right

you can "point your finger" at the TV and swear because its looking inevitable.

we've got to stop hoping for stuff to break in the Bulls and Macs and now, it seems, the Renaults and stop cribbing about tyres, marbles and everything else. just get heads down and figure out how to do better...

I still say just yell at the television..this is racing, its easy to see peoples frustration..me too, but ya gotta take
the good w/the not so, n dont kill yourself over it..its racing,, we up we down, we go round, we win we lose, we.....um...cant rhyme that one...

I get frustrated probably more so than some of you, the frustrating thing being 1 car winning everything..sure, I loved it when Ferrari did it,
but moreso I loved that Ferrari was resurrected and didnt slip into history...So hopefully we will have a different winner in China..ahh grasshoppa...
Of course, I have no idea what Im talking about..
