Seriously banning the rear wing is a total joke. Every other loophole has been allowed, its no wonder Ferrari don't bother being innovative!

BTW, good evening, or morning for you I guess.

There was a question raised from a visual look at the Ferrari yesterday. CW goes public that he will investigate, he did that and made a decision same day.

There have been many questions raised about Red Bull having moving aero parts (wing/nose) which has been backed up by lots of video and pictures, but CW has not gone public, announced an investigation and made a decision.

The FiA have said that EBD's are moving aero parts, but they are letting teams keep using them.

    That equals inconsistent to me.

calm down, I know it's frustrating.. but it was probably easier to prove illegal than the wing for instance, or even other solutions, otherwise they couldn't declare it illegal that easily.

You'd think Pastor M needs a good performance - and less of the off-track excursions.

does the Red Bull wing pass the FIA tests? yes or no? A visual look at our wing? erm no they would have been in scrutineering not just looking at pics posted on the internet...

The picture evidence is highly misleading, as the car is often under load, under braking, full acceleration, different suspension travel etc etc etc The FIA have been all over the Red Bull, if Red Bull are clever enough to pass the tests and gain an advantage then good on them, we choose not to bring a flexing wing...yet.

FIA has also said they will listen to any protest about the blown diffuser and as I understand it it will be banned legally from Silverstone onwards once they change the rules, the FIA have said they believe it's a moveable aero device, they would have to prove that.

Oops, sorry. I guess someone else saw the rear wing issue before I did.

Still, this do sound ridiculous. All points made above are all well said.

We aren't RedBull, we won't be allowed to "innovate" (exploit the rules). So yeah we are pretty much doomed till the end of 2012.

look at this ....Decisions like this one just made the Red fouls stronger. right now webber in 1.21 and others in 1.23....i repite a flex wing which is banned is considered legal a breach in the regulations is considered illegal.Does this make any sense?? Not to me...not even to anyone

Did our rear wing fail a prescribed test? By Charlie's own words it was clever and down to interpretation.

As RD CW can investigate the car further and, just as was done in 2006 with our rear wing, deem it moving and ban it. The current rules permit him to act on something that appears to move.

No they don't, the can penalize on their current interpretation (they say EBDs are moving aeros). They don't need a protest. It is then up to the teams to protest and prove CW wrong.
