Man, JB has to be disheartened by that! Hamilton 7 tenths quicker than him.

I'm getting the feeling that we gonna strugle with the hards. We did so at the start of the season, when the tires were quite more softer, and now when the tires were made way more harder we're rather slippery. Just look at Felipe. Hope those updates are something...

I would actually prefer that we don't beat them today. If we indeed do have the speed it would be much better to keep it in the bag till end of FP3

64 min: Alonso is forced to clear Heidfeld's Renault on his first flying lap, clocking a 1m23.568s after losing time in the middle sector.

We seem better than Mercs but Maccas and RBs are still way out there...Guess we should hope again that race pace would make the difference smaller...

Fernando took fuel for about 6 or 7 laps on the soft compound and was on his PB until he got held up by Alguersuari. So really, the half a second or so we lost behind Heidfeld puts us half a second down on Webber, and minus the fuel load, we'd be right up there.

Didn't Alonso got held up during his 1 lap sprint?

While I expect RB to lock down the front row again, I think we may have a chance at Maccas

Let's face it. Unfortunately our car is just slower than Red Bull and McLaren. That's it... I saw on formula1.com that weather forecast for Sunday is rain... Maybe that will help...

    True.
Although Felipe seems to be struggling even more. Hopefully they will fix what needs to be fixed for tomorrow.

71 min: Alonso pits after becoming frustrated with traffic in the form of Alguersuari's Toro Rosso.

Spaniard vs Spaniard, these two are forever banging heads..lol
