    Great great lap Alonso.

I hope we have great news tomorrow or at least damage limitation. A clean start and 3rd or 4th is the best I can think of.

Our Championship starts next week. Monaco, Canada, Valencia we have to get a win and 2 podiums minimum for our hopes to keep going.

Looks like while we're still lacking downforce (nothing new), we didn't actually had to sacrifice straight line speed just to be closer to the RB. Thats good news to me

    Hi Everyone,

Great lap from nando in Q3!

Im really concerned about our pace on the hard tires. It seems we are gaining performance from the upgrades and that shows when we use the softs but we are really struggeling when we use the hards in the race and qualifying. Is this something that can be rectified during the season or is it down to the design of the car?

Also lewis has blackspotted his front tyre, will this mean nando will have the edge into turn one even though he is starting on the dirty side of the track?

I really hope we carry the same race pace we had in turkey and if nando jumps lewis at the start im thinking p2 with vettels kers not working

Depends what's required anything other routine maintenance means they start from the pit lane

It's not routine so they can't touch it unless they elect to start from the pit lane

Any rear wing in these years is unable to give you more than 1 or 2 or mostly 3 tenths and that's it...

Plus, because it's rear wing, it can cost you time somewhere else in the track. So nothing major for an improvement...

Let me ask all of you, your opinion...

Canada is just 2 races away...

Does anyone believe, Ferrari can win in the track FAIR & SQUARE, i.e. having the best car from quali???

    I doubt....................
And not only I doubt, but I also think, this car has not potential to become a great one...
    Why?
Because it's too conventional, as Newey said...
    And he is right...

Sundays are always different this year, ok...
But that didn't change the fact, that the fastest car overall, still wins and still is the benchmark...

I also wonder, if Ferrari is still 1+ seconds behind, what should happen in the team...

well in Spain they were meant to be this fast. and why not? level with McLaren with a compromised setup. Canada promises big changes, and if Fernando does a lap like that in Monaco, it will be hard to stop him there.

Catalunya & Budapest are suppose to be RB runaway track. We being level with McL gives actual idea that we improved. But Monaco will be our race

    Hey,
how can you compare a lap full of mistakes of McLaren (locked a lot his front left in a turn) which was done earlier with less rubber,

with the best possible and trully amazing lap of Fernando with even more rubber?

McLaren as a car is in front of us, clearly in quali...

    NOT in the race...

And I don't really know, how they meant to be this fast from Spain.
    Just from a rear wing?

    Two words.
    No way...

If Ferrari bring more improvements (which I think they intend to), that might just happen.

since the setup was made with the rear, wing then banned, that affected out balance quite a lot. with it, we would have made a pronounced step forward here. and Monaco you will see, my friend

Just common sense really, 1 second from a wing, it was just a large gurney flap in all reality you don't gain 1 second from that. Ferrari probably knew it was on a grey area with the wing, how do you know how much time and money they used to create it, maybe it was a quick idea that took half an hour to make?

We are not 1 second behind but almost one second.0.1-0.2s isnt important for you ha?So every race they banned something and we try to catch up?every single tools works with its part with its upgrade.we used old wing and it is clearly effects us.it means 1 row had missed do you understand friend.maybe the car is so conservative but it is changing if they do not prevent us.

You don't even know if the wing worked or if Ferrari even planned to use it again though do you

They said yesterday they had a lot of updates to test, some worked well, and others did not work at all.

well there you go. we have a great pilots (yes i believe in felipe)

and the setup reason. i hate to repeat it, but Fernando said it himself that it was undriveable in FP3.

that was without the rear wing, for whcih the setup was optimised for. we would definitely not have beaten the bulls, but we would have improved.

Monaco promises upgrades, and short wheel base should help us, then big upgrades for Canada, which will probebly work given our record in bringing new parts ( apart from Aus)
