Brilliant start from Alonso.......What went wrong?
Shades of Abu Dhabi perhaps in covering Webber on first pit stop instead of Vettel or Hamilton?
Pit stops not in same class as RB?
    Poor tyre strategy?
Car 'undriveable' as FA mentioned after P3 so we should be amazed by a 5th place?
What was wrong with Felipe/ his DNF?

One to forget really. I hope we're picking up a lot of constructive info for 2012

Packing for off to Monaco - hope for something to shout about there

Let´s face it ...he is no longer the Massa before the accident...he is slower (i can understand that after one huge accident) but he is no longer the kind of pilot we need right now.
Here is a forum about Ferrari, not Alonso, not Massa ...I´m a Ferrari Fan.And has a Ferrari fan i say Massa is not good enought to be on Ferrari.Even more in Ferrari bad days.
You seem to be willing to give Alonso the benefit of the doubt, but not Massa.

No... not anymore to Massa . About Fernando i wanna say that he went with everythink that he had in the 1st part of the race .In him i can see an atitude, but not in Massa.
About the team...wanna see what excuse Stefano says. Are we (car) getting better???No.The Canada seems to be a dream so far.

Are you serious?, so you think that Alonso after qualifying and that start deserves to be lapped and your excuse is if that he don't like that he should go. Sad.

Maybe someone will protest thier blown diffusers as well.

It won't matter, they'll get a slap on the wrist, if anything.

I am just destroyed. After big expectations before season and than before Barcelona it is really devastating for me. I am huge Ferrari fan but I am not blind. After the winning years Ferrari is supposed to be winning (with the money we have and Fernando in the team) but it looks like we are falling back to the middle part of the field. In 3 years we were not able to build fast car in the same time as the others and even that we started to build the car half of the year earlier (I mean 2010) RedBull was still better.

If 1 thing should be in doubt it is our car and not our drivers.

TBH, i think the season is prety much over for us. Vettel could probably go on vecation for the next couple of races and still be leading the championship when he's back. Last season they had reliability problems, so we had our chance to close in, but now Vettel's just untouchable... Lewis almost got to him today, but still "almost" doesn't meen "he did". Not saying we should give up, but if we don't have anything good planed out in the near future, it's looking rather dark...

Tough race for us. I'm sure both our drivers tried their best today, we're just still that 3rd fastest team. McLaren, for some reason, are up on par with RB, at least in this race.

Still, great start by Alonso, and very well controlled 1st stint, including the boys down at the pits, well done to them. Alonso retaining the lead going into stint 2 was actually more than what we could bargain for really.

The only thing I don't understand is how both Vettel and Hami could held on to their 3rd set of softs for so long while Alonso had to stop for the hards. Clearly despite the age of the softs, its still way faster and it was really that difference that allowed both Vettel and Hami to race in a completely different level compared to the rest.

I just don't know how they could held on to that last set of softs for that long. Or did we underestimate their lifespan?

Shame everyone only have 3 softs, and practically almost all (not sure about Button) at the front used up all 3 sets. They should consider more softs IMO, because with Pirelli harder hards, we are going to have to use all the soft we have due to the huge gap.

Well, as Greig mentioned earlier, P5 is a realistic result for us.

in '96 MSC was 27, in 2010 FA was 29 I believe. so both late 20's, what's your point?

Anyways, it looks like the tyres are everything, if we ever want to fight for the podium again. Hopefully Ferrari will not panic in Q1 anymore and will not send out our drivers to burn up a whole fresh set of soft tyres.

I'm a Massa fan and I dislike Alonso but I have to say:-

Alonso made a truly EPIC start, really excellent indeed!!! He deserved to get a podium from that at least and I'm sorry he didn't because he did deserve it.

Massa.. dear oh dear.. that was terrible and why was he simply not defending from Vettel etc, he just left the door wide open. seriously that was an terrible race from him.

    Alonso 9/10
    Massa 2/10

what went wrong? Super start by Fernando. Got get our pitstops faster, its coesting us points and podiums. Could of had win, but without those extra softs, podium was on the cards for sure. Really gutted that got lapped, isnt on!!! I hate running the team down, but im loosing patience with them.

If they all get penalties, will not effect us at all. Unless get DQ
