Ferrari spy on at Red Bull?

Barcelona "We have noticed that Ferrari has some kind of espionage," Marko said on RTL: "We have the Mark (Webber, the editor) said relatively late, that he should come in to pit on. And yet it has also Alonso the box made it. The words we have responded to. "
.. Also, team boss Christian Horner was sure "that Ferrari has us covered sent the end, we have them, but turned on a bait, as we get out sent the crew, you actually went out too, got Fernando (Alonso, the editor) in - and so Mark came over then. "
Apart from the case, Red Bull Racing agreed to end apparently by coded commands. The boxes of radio interviews published at the end revealed at first glance, at least no sense. Ferrari would not comment on the allegations.
If the radio boxes really be listened to, this would be in terms of espionage in Formula 1, a new dimension. Normal these days are the tours of the starting positions, where offers other than the days before the opportunity to watch the cars of the rivals. Often high-resolution photos are shot from the cars, also the team members eager to make notes.
"It's always worth a look, what others do so," said Mercedes team boss Ross Brawn: "In this age of digital cameras, we get all the information anyway, but it's always nice to see it with my own eyes.." Red Bull had in Barcelona, the mechanics set up around the cars, to protect it from prying eyes.

??? Is this some kind of a joke?

Yesterday we saw "Horner the clown" being arrogant and poach our already wounded pride and today this theory? What? They want to see Ferrari out of F1? That is the intent of this thesis?
Go sell drinks ...our past, our present and our future is to build cars. That kind of cars that not even with your drink with three times as much caffeine can give an individual the thrill of driving a Ferrari.
Your superiority on the track have the days numbered and soon we will see that the Redbulls prepotency and arrogance will become a moo of a cow.
Vettel himself has noticed and is not by chance that he does not rule out Ferrari.

Helmut Marko is a senile old fool. By using the word espionage he's trying to put a very negative twist to something which is apparently a very regular thing. Teams constantly check on what other teams are doing, how else could McLaren tell Lewis within half a lap Vettel's KERS wasn't working properly? Heck, anyone watching the TV broadcast can pick up the odd radio command.

And if my German is up to scratch I think the Horner quotes are just a rehash of what he said yesterday. As far as I'm concerned it's perfectly normal for teams to anticipate what other teams are doing with regards to pit-stops. This smacks of Red Bull trying to kick us when we're down.

There is nothing new about teams listening to each others radio broadcasts, they have been doing it for years. Why do you think some teams employed military grade encoded radio transmission systems? Why do you think they employ code words when they talk to the drivers? McLaren were listening to ours when Kimi was at McLaren - so it's a bit of a non story really.

Anyway, what is with Red Bull? Having said that, I really hope we don't make any response to this, other than to whup them comprehensively in Moncao

Red-Bull reminds me of Renault in 2006. They got themselves a big head after they won a couple of titles. Then started to pick a mental/verbal battle with Ferrari since they were dominating us. Well we know where Renault is now-a-days.

Have your fun RedBull. we shall see how the fans desert you when you have nothing. Ferrari fans are true and we will not be beaten by your silly games.

Whenever people point a finger at someone, four other fingers are pointing at themselves. Maybe someone should remind the RB guys of that.

This is one of those "damned if you do and damned if you don't" situations!
If Ferrari responds, there are those who will insist they are defending themselves because they have to hide.
If Ferrari doesn't respond, there are those who will insist that means they have something to hide and are laying low!

Either way, for all the anti-Ferrari brigade, the truth doesn't matter!!

+1. Its nothing new. Marko just want to smear us in mud and try make out that we cheating and doing our own bit of espionage. If he understood F1 instead of living in back of Vettels garage all weekend, he'd see this. So, Helmut, you want be that picky. Newey is cheating by studying the cars when on the grid and in pits.

    Silly man.

Aw c'mon folks its totally obvious.........Horner (I only pose naked to make the girls sick) and Marko (i would be a horror movie star but no-one could afford me) are getting nervous that their cheating will be banned soon and the golden finger may not win them a second WDC.......stuff them........We do not need to stoop to such levels of childishness.........and if golden finger wants to drive for us he has a lot of growing up to do first.......sory living in Germany can't stand the hype any more........its dreadful......... Felipe do some spanking races and stick around please!

Once again the fools making fools of themselves, the hate for what they are not always get to them, they just can't hold it. We'll see who has the last laugh, obviously it won't be them, I sure hope to see them back in the midfield soon, where they belong. By the way, ever wonder where Red Bull cans end up after a drink? I think the garbage can is the right answer.

    So long Red Bull!!!

What gets me is that Ferrari never talk about RB. We never even protested their flexi wing last year. So where is this hate comming from? Last Xmas they had that card mocking us, and vettel had his "we will get them" radio comment in Singapore.

I can't wait till we beat them, and shut them up.

See the thing is that, we don't need to say anything to get back to them on something like this, or produce a mock Xmas card like they did against us. You know why? Because we are Ferrari! And Red Bull knows that too!

Red Bull can win the next 5 World Championships in a row, but at the end of it all... we will still be the greatest name in the automotive world, the most prestigious and legendary brand in Formula 1. Red Bull will just be a drinks company who won a few titles thanks to their massive budgets.

They can only DREAM of achieving anywhere near the legendary status the Cavallino Rampante has!

    The future is RED

F1 : Ferrari laughs at Red Bull Formula 1 radio communication spying charge

    Wednesday, 25 May 2011 09:11

Ferrari has laughed at reports it could be in the middle of a new Formula One spying scandal.

After the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix, Helmut Marko accused the famous Italian team of secretly listening in on Red Bull's race strategies.

"We have noticed that Ferrari is doing some kind of espionage," the Austrian said.

"We called Mark (Webber) into the box relatively late, and yet they (Ferrari) managed to get Alonso in as well. They had been able to respond to us."

It is believed Marko's suspicions hardened when Red Bull issued fake commands for its drivers to pit in Barcelona, and Ferrari still moved to respond.

"We can only laugh at that," Ferrari spokesman Luca Colajanni is quoted as saying by German language sport1.de.

"It is clear that everybody observes everybody else," he added.
