Just love it how DC makes out he`s an expert at F1. I seem to remember his last season was a shocker.. Couldnt finish, crashed out all the time. Rubbish driver.

Thats what I believe, they messed up when they though about 2 DRS zones in race, then media asked about wet setup and they decided go with it...
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

They're not racing Alonso, they're racing Webber.

When you've just watched a rubbish film and you want to be politically correct when asked, what do you answer?

    It's got great photography.

When on a blind date you end up with an old trout and you want to be politically correct when asked, what do you answer?

    She's great at conversations.

When asked about DC, and you want to be politically correct, what do you answer?

    He is a gentleman driver....

If we look back at Monza last year, Button on a high downforce configuration is just as quick as the Ferraris and Hamilton on the low downforce configuration. (Lap times I mean, not top speeds)

And I agree with scuderiafan, because the McLarens are slow even in S1 and S2. If the McLarens are on a wet setup hence higher downforce setup, S1 & S2 should be the place where they can gain an advantage, but still the McLarens didn't match the Ferraris there.

    S1:
    Alonso 20.292
    Massa 20.286
    Hamilton 20.402
    Button 20.310

    S2:
    Alonso 23.404
    Massa 23.381
    Hamilton 23.472
    Button 23.589

Of course I do not know whether there are other settings in a wet setup that might have dragged them backwards.

But another thing is how risky it is to run a wet setup when you are not 100% certain of a wet race. Almost as risky as Kimi switching to wet tyres in Malaysia 2009 before rain has even started to fall.

... and all this in topm teams... I don't want to think what would have happened to him had he driven for Minardi.
