The constant and boring Massa replaced by.....thread

"I would decide in the coming months about my future, but it is also true that Ferrari is always something special." This phrase comes from Mark Webber told reporters at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve paddock. A disturbing report, which is part of a tug of war with Red Bull Racing.

Christian Horner (Red Bull) dropped, "Consideration will be given a notice to be published in September." If you have come to you not noticed, the Italian Grand Prix takes place on 11 September.

Except here, it seems that truth is stranger than fiction in advertising. Recent speculation about Flavio Briatore and his travels in Maranello, lets you forget that it is an influential adviser to the career of Mark Webber. Recently, the Australian was scathing toward his teammate Vettel, why asking for his opinion about my future? In my diary I have 34, I think I know what I want. "Besides the good atmosphere between the two men seem to move farther and farther as the success of a contrast with other sentences.

However, Webber's future seems to have a relationship with Ferrari, where Felipe Massa is in doubt. Yesterday, Stefano Domenicali, makes it clear he wants more than it is giving its Brazilian driver. In fact, Massa has an option for 2012 that is activated in a couple of weeks, but is very irregular on track. But observers say the argument was already past year the same. Massa's future depends on his next two races (Silverstone and Valencia). If Massa does not have good intentions, is likely to be replaced by Mark Webber, who was introduced to Luca di Montezemolo as a regular driver with a good mentality to adapt.

Then we learned that the salary of Mark Webber at Red Bull Racing in 2012 would be the same as 2011, 8 million euros (without premium), which means that it is not the same as Mark Webber Sebastian Vettel in the team.

So I think we have come close to full circle, all but like 3 drivers on the grid have been linked to Massa's seat... And there is still time for those stories to come out...

i know how it will end. ferrari will do a realty show called something like 'ferrari's next nr 2 driver' and all mentioned will take part in that. in the end of the season one brave, edgy driver will get the contract worth a lot of money and glory, etc

If Massa was driving well nothing of this would happen.

If this is true then Briatore wont be Ferrari replacement to Domenicali. His travels to Maranello are in relation with Webber.

The season is just 1/3 done, so i guess there's plenty of time to even get Briatore on that list

What a joke, I even consider it as an insult to Ferrari.

Heh, you think? Because they have been going on since he joined Ferrari. IIRC even in 2008 the rumours about Nando replacing him were in full swing.

Its one of the things that comes with being a legendary team like Ferrari... Everyone is interested on who will be driving the 2 Ferrari. I'm sure that Massa is not the only driver who's contact is ending next year. Hell there are drivers who's contract will be ending this year, but for most team, few cares who will be the next there.

Hence there will always be such rumor about who will be coming to Ferrari, because people are actually interested in knowing, and such rumor sells.

Can´t we have a thread called "Massa´s going to be replaced by ...........". We could do the thread just talking about ........... and whenever a new rumor occurs we could dig this thread out and just replace ............ with the name of the new candidate for the cockpit. That would save us all a lot of time and we could use this time to talk about important things like "why is Lewis such a joke" or "what be done against Vettel´s finger" or "why is red such a great colour".

I think Kubica was the perfect replacement to Massa, until his accident. Webber would be a provisional option until Kubica recovers completely.

And YES, Massa is driving in Ferrari now in a mediocre way. If you dont like the truth is your problem.
