Because then (Alonso's 31) they are going to hire Rubbens!!!

Translate "chiacchiera fantasmagorico" to German and then the result to English. You´ll get "spirited talk". Why learn other languages if we have google translate to make sure we don´t understand each others

Rumour has it that George Bush was not a bumbling idiot at all but in fact a word perfect orator who misguidedly translated all of his speeches into English using Google translate, to see if it helped him understand them before he gave them

Do u think that I can start a rumour that I'm in conversations with Ferrari so my boss would give a pay upgrade? It seems to be working for everyone else...

We call it the silly season and it’s a most apt phrase, even if the word “season” is less appropriate, given that the phenomenon now seems to go on all year round. The shouts from the market place can be heard in full cry at just about any moment in the season, especially when it comes to Ferrari. Whether the team is doing well or if it’s going through a period a bit like the current one, it’s always good box office. And today, it’s a truly universal phenomenon, in that it has expanded to cover several categories. It used to be just the drivers, but now it extends to team management and engineers and it’s a hot topic everywhere: one might even say in “all four corners of the earth” as the people coming up with these fantasies are quite capable of still believing the earth is flat.

A favourite pastime for the Prancing Horse is to keep tabs on all these rumours, to see just how creative and phantasmagorical these experts can be. Recent weeks have provideed a particularly happy hunting ground on various fronts. Engineer gossip has been enlivened by the news of the restructuring of the Scuderia’s technical department, giving rise to a wave of suggestions and a list of candidates good enough to make an employment agency go green with envy. But of course, it’s still the drivers that attract the most attention. And as usual, Felipe Massa is at the centre of it all. The Brazilian is now well used to this ritual, as it began almost before he set foot in the Scuderia. Each year he is due to be replaced, even if the season is only two races old, yet year after year, he is still holding down his job. The list of candidates scheduled to replace Felipe is by now a long one, but 2011 has seen some new names appear in the charts. First there was Nico Rosberg and now we can add that of Jenson Button. It goes without saying that, yet again, this is just a load of twaddle, to use a polite word for what I really mean to say.

I think its time up for Massa. Dismal performance relative to Alonso. 36 seconds behind excluding the 5 seconds he lost in the pitstop. That will not make Ferrari happy.

Come on give the guy a break he had an excellent start! did well in keeping up with Alonso and he would have had Hamilton if he had a few more laps. Were should he have finished?? Our Car was good enough for 3rd and 4th Well i have been impressed with him in the last few races defo upping his game compared to last year!!

He knows how to start a race that's for sure.
Maybe he needs to crack the whip at his pit crew -----seems we have a lot of problems lately with wheel nuts.

Felipe drove a great race and only lost out to Ham because of the pit stop or he would have been there. He did a brilliant start and let Fernando past.........then lost out himself but a good solid race from Felipe so why is everyone just complaining?

Massa "let" Alonso past? If I remember correctly, Alonso went around on the outside,
while Massa got held up on the inside. I don't think he "let" Alonso past!

He provided the opportunity for Nando to pass----Webber couldn't defend both sides of the track!
I guess that was team strategy.

Oh come on let's not get into the realms of fantasy, the start is what it was, nobody let anyone past and no team strategy involved. Alonso never got passed Webber at the start in any case

I think that ,this forum it´s about Ferrari against other teams ...right???It is not ferrari driver againt ferrari driver right???
Look ...it´s all the same...I´m a Ferrari fan not a Alonso fan or Massa fan. Important to me it´s Ferrari wins or not.
It seems clear that Massa will stay in Ferrari and so Alonso. So why bother with this matter???
The problem this year is not the drivers, it is the car,the pit-stops,the strategy and the approach of the team in the beginning of the season that made this awful season to us. If we had a good car maybe Alonso would win a race then Massa could win the another one and so on....And that is what i wanna.
But this year with this car and all the huge mistakes this cannot happen so we must maintain our focus in our priority, which is the car and the team mistakes.
We must give a good car to the drivers and then , just then, demand responsibilities .
    Race victories 219
    Pole positions 205
    Fastest laps 225
Words of what???We are the F1!!!Any Doubts???

Not trying to "divide and conquer"!! But, as Greig has already pointed out,
at the start of any race, it's every man/driver for himself -- no one is about
to "let" anyone past. If there's an opportunity, it's each driver's responsibility
to make the best of it; nothing to do with team strategy!

Oh jeez just because I had an unfortunate choice of words you all go bananas......of course I didn't mean Felipe deliberately let Fernando past........at the start they are all for themselves.......but it just shows our boys don't take each other out like Macca folks and some fizzy drink drivers........
And despite all that is said I think Fernando and Felipe make a good pair so why do folks think we need to swap Felipe for anyone else out there......
