    It's raining and it's cold.
Meanwhile, it either says something or just nothing that Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen have reputedly spared a F1 podium on five occasions and Fernando has stood on the top step on every occasion. He's F1's first among equals. (PG)

im a wee bit worried with the long runs. Ferrari are consistently both in the mid 1:37s

McLaren high 1:37- low 1:38s, but RedBull are low 1:37 to mid 1:36s.

thats like a second a lap.

i guess we got to hope that Ferrari are on a bit more fuel. but i think we are extrememly close to the bulls, but they are still a tiny bit faster.

Alonso shifted to the hards when he started getting lighter towards the end of his long runs, thats about the the time Webber started doing 1.36s laps with the soft tyres, I think if Alonso stayed on the softs he would have also been into the 1.36s. When they were both on the softs at the beginning of their long runs Webber and him were more or less doing same lap times so I wouldn't be too worried. What Im worried about is the rain, Alonso and Massa seem to be too.

aah, different tyres. thanks. if thats true, provided rb dont pull out the times out the bag like they do, (i dont think so, as they have some major competition), we may be in amazing shape in the dry!

virgin says it is dry right now.

@MarussiaVirgin Very quiet 30 mins before the action starts. It's cold but dry

Oh man, I really hope Alonso and Massa can fight with the Bulls. A good qualifying would be Alonso/Massa/Webber ahead of Vettel, but I doubt this is going to happen. My guess, Vettel pole, Alonso 2nd or 3rd.

There was a sunny early morning at the Nurburgring but the sky is getting clouder.... Chance of rain is increasing, even bigger for tomorrow

I would prefer wet FP3 if rain is inevitable for the race

    Air tempeture - 12C
    Track tempeture - 19C

Hope it's gonna warm up, since we are not that really good in getting our tires up to working tempetures.
