Thrust - a legitimate use of Extreme overrun?

I was wondering if extreme overrun could be used in other ways. It got me to thinking about whether you could use the thrust generated.

I suppose this would be more relevant to hot blowing. Why not focus on generating and maximizing the thrust created by this?

Firstly, you would need to determine if the thrust could be made significant. Secondly you would need to try and maximize your use of that thrust.

To maximize thrust, you would need some sort of nozzle and the ability to place structures inside that nozzle. On the face of it, that is illegal, however, as we saw on our car and in McLaren's octopus exhaust allowing a gap would be a clever way to signify the end of the exhaust and thereby allow another structure, not part of the exhaust, to be shaped as a jet nozzle.

The nozzle and resultant thrust could be used to aid propulsion (more speed) or pointing upwards, it would push the car down without blowing over any body parts.

I wonder if we will see any advances in this next year? I guess it depends on whether significant amounts of thrust can be generated via the extreme overrun.

    No.

The exhaust must only transfer fluids from the engines exhaust ports to the tail pipe exit. i.e. no other gasses can enter or exit the exhaust along any point in its length. This prevents any reinterpretation of the exhaust exit or one way valves to maintain exhaust gas velocity

So at the minimum there will be the thrust created and delivered from the tailpipe. Be great if someone could postulate as to how significant that could become. Also as to where that thrust might be better used to generate downforce (not via aeros but from the reaction to the thrust) or propulsion.
