    Your opinions, please.

    Hey everyone,

After going to the Italian Grand Prix for the 3rd time this year and now knowing everything needed comprehensively, I've had an idea that maybe I could take people on a guided tour of the 2012 Italian Grand Prix.

Prices would obviously be more expensive than just doing it yourself, but people go on package holidays or packages from other companies all the time.

This time, you'd have me telling you what trains to get, what buses, where to walk etc. Properly guided.

Prices would include Flights, Accommodation, Race Tickets and me guiding you all.

Everyone would be at the same accommodation and hopefully on the same flight (unless it's impossible for everyone to be at the same airport - in which case we'd meet at the airport in Italy). There would be a good schedule, everyone can do their own thing out of that schedule - in the evenings for example or on a free morning/day.

It would most likely be a 5/6 day trip, going on the Wednesday and returning on the Monday. Giving everyone the opportunity to visit Milan's centre for a few hours.

There would be no hassle in finding the local supermarket or good places to eat. Which train do I get in the morning? Not to worry, I know.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts.

If I can get together a group of 5 or 10 people who would pay to do it, I'll start thinking about it all properly.

    Thanks all,

    Ste.

I think it would be great for people who had never been and didn't want the hassle of finding out how to do things themselves - but in that case, they could just go on a regular package tour? If they're prepared to pay extra they may want the 'luxury' of having a coach to and from their hotel as opposed to getting buses/trains.

I can see where you're going with the idea but what would you be offering that a regular package tour doesn't? They too can arrange your accommodation, flights, track transfers, and give info on best viewing spots, places to eat in the local area etc.

All true. That's essentially what I would offer, but rather than just giving info, I'd be available to ask.

    More like a school trip.

Oooh would you make everyone walk in a crocodile?

If you planned to show people where to go etc around the track, you could always throw in a bit of history as well? Eg. Take them to certain corners and tell them "this is where so-and-so overtook so-so-so", or when at the old banking, talk about famous races there etc. Just an idea.
I'll be happy to take credit for the idea and a cut of the takings if you did it

That's exactly what it'd be like.

This is where Hamilton put Glock on the grass at 160mph in the wet in 2008
This is where Hamilton moved over on Webber under braking in 2008
This is where Hamilton hit the wall in 2009
This is where Hamilton crashed in 2010
